It Snowed!

Finally, here in little Grainger County, it has snowed. We've waited forever, really, and now, everything lays under a one-inch layer of snow. We got out of school for one inch. Aren't we pitifull here?

yes very. i dont get out even if there is like 3 feet of snow!!! i really hope it doesnt snow here, i dont want it to be winter anymore.

Yeah, the people in charge here feel really sorry for us, and they don't want to work, so anytime there's an excuse, they jump for it. I did get to sleep in, so I was happy. But now that it's snowed, I'm ready for my trip to Disney.

I'm going March 1-5, if Grandpa remains stable or if he passes away before. He has a cancer that has crept up into his brain, and he now has pnemonia in his right lung. He's in a lot of pain, so the doctors suspect he's got a bloodclot too.

Thanks. Right now we don't know exactly how bad he is, and Mom is peeved at the doctors because they aren't handling things right.

we got a dusting of maybe 10 flakes....we're out of school today. I'm telling you. Even the mention of snow makes eveyrone run out and buy milk, bread and eggs. (something about cold weather makes people want french toast. ) Walmart was a madhouse last night.

We're not exactly that bad here. When most people here the word snow, they just pray that it's enough to get us out of school so they can sleep in.

Enjoyed your post. We are not that far from you if it is TN. My Guys had to go to school and just moaned about the fact that everyone else in ET was out but Roane and Knox Co.

I'm in Middle. About two hours south east of nashville, traffic permitting.

I am, like I said, from Grainger County, about 45 minutes from West Knoxville. Pretty much isolated from everything. We do have a Hardees and Subway, though. And a Pizza Plus.

*is jealous* Normally, we have plenty of snow here in Jersey, but no. This winter has been VERY warm. with NO snow.

...not that I'm complaining about it being warm, since it's really nice to not have to wear a coat, but yeah. I WANT SNOW. and at least one snow day.

we're supposed to be getting a huge snowstorm this weekend. ...but I hope we don't. Or esle we're screwed, since my school musical opens in a week, and we NEED that all day saturday and sunday practices. lol

We're out of school again today. There wasn't even any snow left on the ground! I got out of a science test, though. We're supposed to get a lot of snow this weekend - 6 inches! That's enough to keep us out for two or three days!
