It really is my birthday; no guilt; lots of treats My Birthday, typing as you read!

I'm sorry about your experience with Les Chefs. :( Looking forward to those birthday reviews though!!! :thumbsup2

I've seen quite a few posts lately about Les Chefs having bland food. It's not on my list of places to revisit this year. I did it a few years ago and while it was okay, there are too many better places in the World to enjoy!

I'm really enjoying your reviews and pics!

Kathy

Am really sad you did not enjoy Les Chefs de France apart from the desserts, which look amazing!! :thumbsup2

We are looking to book a dinner ADR at this place and am a bit doubtful now...will prob still give it a shot and hope for the best.

Look forward to hearing all about your BIRTHDAY posts!! :goodvibes

love the steak at france

I should really mention here, I hope that my reviews would never sway someone from trying and enjoying a meal. Both DH and I would have never been at a majority of the restaurants we have gone to if we didn't just give it the good ole' college try. For example, Mama Melrose. Huge favorite of ours (even if you get an off night - read about it later) and we have another ADR for August. At Chef's de France, the chicken was okay, but I was expecting fireworks. The desserts, :cheer2:, and I would make an ADR just for maybe an appetizer and dessert. I think everyone should read at least 4 reviews about a certain restaurant, then make a decision to try or not. Like Sand&Sun said, steak is great. I personally didn't even see the steak on the menu, that may have made a huge difference.

And here is a shocker, I dislike Ohana. I won't give it another try. Not even the dessert. I think this actually can get me tarred and feathered on this board, and or put in Dis Restaurant Jail. But I look at it this way, someone is getting the reservation that I am not making, Right?

How fun you made new friends at Le Cellier!! Definitely the best way to go about the tables way too close situation! You're pretty much sitting together anyways

That stinks about your Les Chefs lunch. I haven't eaten there yet, but the reviews certainly seem mixed. At least dessert was yummy!
