It is time.....

A great plan Kim :)
Hope the hangover has gone!!

Hangover...ugh! But it looks like you did good! :thumbsup2

I like your plan; it's so nice and handy to have it in a simple Do and Don't list.

At least you didn't go the greasy food route to cure your hangover! Nothing seems to cure mine like a greasy bacon cheeseburger...

Let me know how you like Shred! I start Level 2 tomorrow, it's a little scary to think about.

Great job! Knowing my family, DH and I would have used the hangover as an excuse to totally indulge! Great effort. I think we all need to give ourselves a break and congratulate ourselves on making strides toward the goal even if we don't achieve perfection each and every day...

I got the 30 Shred requested from the library. Post how it goes, I'm totally interested to hear.

Trust me...a cheeseburger was on my mind! But fitting in my clothes and feeling better about myself won out! :thumbsup2

Ok, so food for today:

1/2 packet weight control oatmeal (didn't sit well with my belly)
WW flatbread
light string cheese
120 calories of mixed nuts
chicken breast with peppers & onions
string beans
salad

Done by 7:30pm. 100 ounces of water. :goodvibes

Not sure how well the breakfast thing will go. I've always had a weird stomach in the morning. I generally can't eat without upsetting my stomach til 10ish. I'm going to still try to have something for breakfast, but we'll see. It's not worth feeling bad every day, right?

I did my first night of the 30 day Shred tonight. HOLY COW!!:scared1: Jillian Michaels kicked my rear! Not sure how well my knees will hold up. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Definitely an intense workout. I can't imagine level 2!

Thanks so much for the support, girls. The hangover is gone...back to reality. :rotfl:

Hi Kim,
I think that your Weight Control oatmeal may have sucralose in it. Worth a double check - I know that stuff doesn't sit well with you in the first place.

Looks like you're doing well with your plan! I know what you mean about Jillian - I can't even do all those jumping jacks! No way, jose. Yeah, I know she makes bigger people than me do them. But she doesn't have to live with our knees, you know?

So glad your hangover is gone!

I'm not a breakfast person either. I find that I do better just having some coffee. I know conventional wisdom says breakfast is essential, but I find I do better without it myself. Do some experimenting and see what works for you...maybe a 10 a.m. snack is better.

YIKES!! Thanks, C! I hadn't thought of that.

Today I think I'm going to not do breakfast...and maybe have a yogurt around 11 before heading out to run errands on my lunch break. I'll let you know later how it goes!

Hi Kim, welcome back, missed you loads, it was you who inspired me to start running & i did my 1st 5k a few weeks back :)

Tracey - I wanted to make sure I said a HUGE

:yay:CONGRATS!!!!!:yay:

That's so great!!! I've missed you lots too!

I got the 30 day shred yesterday and will probably make an attempt at it tomorrow. How are you feeling today?

Hope you have a great day!

Morning, Tracy. I'm ok today, just very sore quads. Which is to be expected, since I haven't worked out in like 6 months. :rotfl:

Good luck with the DVD. Let me know how you make out!

Have you ever tried something other than breakfast food for breakfast? Like 1/2 a sandwich or a chicken breast or something? In a lot of European countries they have meat, cheese and yummy breads for breakfast. :cloud9:

I am doing Shred Level 2 for the first time today after work, I'll let you know how it goes (if I survive!)...

Hmmm, that might be a good idea.

How long did you do level 1 before switching to level 2?

hi kim - thanks for the congrats :)
it was nice chatting with you tonight on facebook :)
This shred thing that everyone is talking about sounds hard!! keep it up :) You can always relax those muscles in the hot tub ;)

You got that right, Tracey! :thumbsup2

Food for today:

yogurt
LC panini sandwich
140 cal Sunchips bag
rotini w/broccoli

I did well. Ate the yogurt around 11, so my tummy felt much better. 80 ounces of water. Had pasta for dinner, so that wasn't good, but not bad calorie wise. Done eating by 7:30.

Goodnight all!

All in all sounds like a nice sensible food day, even with the pasta.

Hi Kim,
The Fruit and Vegetable police, here. :magnify: You're doing so great already, but remember to have your fruits and vegetables, too! A side of frozen vegetables or a piece of whole fruit add a lot of nutrition and bulk for not that many calories. :)

You are really on a roll now! Way to go!

Thanks ladies!

You're right, C. I definitely need to pay attention to getting those fruits and veggies in! I brought a grapefruit for a snack today, as a matter of fact! :thumbsup2

food looks great :)
ive been craving grapefruit - strange!!
