It is really starting to hit!

For some odd reason this year, the trip has always seemed so far off. Maybe because this is the first time since I was in school (decades ago! ) that we have gone in back to back years. Normally, we skip a year! For me, not booking a trip until Aug for Dec of the same year just doesn't happen! Well...it has hit! In 11 days, we will be on the road to Disney!!!! Now it seems like there is so much to do!

We have a basic plan down as to what we are going to do....got all the tickets together, my Disney $$, the Disney gift cards, the gas cards, got our docs yesterday (the little sprinkling of golden Mickey heads that fell out of the envelope was such fun! )...guess it's too soon to start packing!

Who else is going to be there in the VERY near future???!!

I haven't started to pack yet, but right after Thanksgiving I will.

Our first time during the holiday season! Can't wait!

I hear you. This year the holidays seem very distant and not as important? as they are most years. We are going Dec 6. Thanksgiving this year is almost like an after-thought. Need to focus though.

You all will be back before we leave but I know the feeling. We have been counting down since July and now it's just a little over 3 weeks

going to be there Dec 9th. It seemed so far away and now all the sudden it's coming quick. Part of me is sad it's coming so soon because then it will be over. lol

We leave in 10 days! I want to start packing but it makes no sense because we have to pack for our Thanksgiving weekend at my parents'. Then we'll have to come home and wash clothes and pack again. AND the connection for our dryer is clogged so it doesn't work! Well, at least we have some friends in our apt complex who are letting us use theirs. It's just aggrevating because it's the apartment's fault and they don't seem too concerned.
Anyway, I think once I get back from Thanksgiving weekend is when I'll really start freaking out about getting everything together.

we're going 17 days from now. As most of you, started all very slow, now time is catching up fast. So is work, unfortunately Almost no DIS time lately, no more browsing for trip reports, no more planning

Hopefully this weekend I'll be back to the usual: rearrenge ADR's for the 100th time, see latest crowd & booking reports, change (once more) tour plans for each day, etc to keep alive the pixie dust.

We're going Saturday about 3 am and will arrive by noon. We'll be there until the next Saturday 12/02. So excited now I can hardly stand it.

Thanksgiving? Yep just a second thought, I got better things to get ready for !
