It is possible to upgrade 2 day ticket to hopper at park?

Good Morning everyone!
We are travelling to DL this summer and plan to buy 2 day base tickets in advance through an employer. Some of us might want to add the hopper, can we do that individually at the park?

You should be able to upgrade the ticket at the park. You just need to read the fine print on the ticket to see if it says that it is non-upgradable. Some tickets bought at a discount and / or that are comped are not able to be upgraded and it says so on the ticket.

And make sure you can still get them from your employer. Disney pulled the discount tickets from many employers last year.

Also of note is that most upgrades mean you lose any discount. So there is no savings in buying from your employer if you are going to upgrade at the park.

Thank you! All good points. S. CA employer still seems to have them (my sister's employer, not mine) but I will read the fine print. They aren't discounted much, like $5/ticket but they come with a $25 per person food voucher. Appreciate the help!
