for me to run into the grocery store for a couple of things. All I needed was milk and trashbags, $200 later....I came home :confused3  While I am on the subject, why can't cereal be packaged in re-sealable bags???? It would stay alot fresher than that cheap **** wax bag  I have to take it out of the box and put it in a zip lock myself, surely Kellogg's could do this up front and save me the trouble :teeth:

:thumbsup2 I nominate you to be the official spokesperson to the Kelloggs people. What a wonderful thing resealable cereal bags would be. :thumbsup2

Because if they did that the cereal would last longer and not go stale. Causing them to sell less cereal. :)

I do agree with you, that would make so much more sense.

I agree with your entire post. I can't go into the store without spending at least $200 and why oh why can they not put the cereal in resealable bags?! :confused3

Love the animation in your siggie! :lmao:

The non-name brand cerals use the resealable bags. But it doesn't taste any good. tupperware used to have those neat cereal containers with the flippy lid. look on e-bay? you might find one. also I agree never just one thing in the store for me is possible even at a gas station I always get that "I have to buy something" feeling no matter what it is. Have any of you read the confessions of a shopaholic books? they fit me to a T. I am uncontrolable! Good luck with your campain to big cereal companies!

This is why we like the Malt-O-Meal genaric cereals that my local Target carries. Cheaper than the brand names AND a resealable bag. :thumbsup2

I put my cereal in a gallon-sized Ziploc baggie. Works great!

i went into store today,, after bread and dawn,, bought bread and dawn,, spent less than 10 bucks...

I'm with ya on the cereal, I buy the indivdual little boxes single serving size. I know they cost more, but its better than throwing away 1/2 boxes of cereal because the kids get tired of it and want something different. Their spoiled.

WalMart is that money grabbing time warp place too. You go in for just a few things, and a full cart later and a few hundred dollars worth, the cashier ask "So, did you find everything alright?, I just give her a look and say "Yes, and lots more thank you." :sad2:

I use those clips they sell for chip bags. I just fold over the top of the wax bag and put the clip on. It works like a charm and saves the expense of Ziploc bags.

My mother (84) uses clothes pins to hold everything together. You can't believe the places I've found clothes pins. :sad2:

I love Shopaholic!!!!!! DH always teases me about not being able to take a day off without spending at least $100.....going to the store for two things and coming home with ten.....My biggest weakness is beauty products...lotion, body wash, make up, etc. It's everywhere! There are like ten major lotion brands with ten lotion formulas each--how do I know which one works the best unless I try them all????

this is an admirable trait your gender has :thumbsup2 Once I conquer re-sealable cereal bags, I am going after solar powered outdoor Christmas lights :woohoo: just think....no more checking every bulb and no extension cords :teeth: I'm a friggin' genius :smokin:

200 hunderd dollars ?you stoped at Pizza didnt you :rotfl:

I almost can't walk into a target. If I just need TP or something, it is cheaper to buy it at the grocery even though it costs more because there is no way for me to make it through a target without spending $100
