Issue with the 180+10 ADR??

I don't know if I was imagining this or not, but here is the situation. Today marked the 180 day mark for our trip. We are staying a couple days (Saturday and Sunday) at Disney first, then staying near the beach for a couple of days, then coming back to the World to finish up our trip. I was under the assumption that I would be able to pick all of my ADRs for the trip based on the 180+10 from the first stay, but when I logged on this morning, it would only allow me to pick Saturday and Sunday. When I called, they basically said that I would have to make more ADRs 180 days from the date of my second stay. Was I completely off base in my thinking that I could book my Saturday and Sunday reservations and then also book ADRs later in the week due to the 180 +10? We are staying onsite for both stays.

The castmember was correct. Since last year it has been 180 days + the length of each resort reservation so you will have to wait until 180 days before the start of your second reservation to book restaurants for that stay. It used to be 180 + 10 days even if it involved 2 separate resort stays within the 10 day period.

This is correct. You used to be able to call at 180 days from the first stay and book ADRs for both stays, but that has changed. You now have to wait until 180 days before the 2nd stay to book that portion, as this poster stated.

Does FP+ work the same way too? Or can I book that all at once?
