Okay, here would be my plan:
1. Grit teeth
2. Go to church. Pray for her enlightenment
3. Ask God for help letting it go
4. Let it go and blow into work tomorrow with a big smile on your face.
Let's recap the goal here: the goal of work is to get paid, get promoted, get a raise, get promoted, get a bonus ... the point of work is to make money. The point of your home life is to gain emotional and personal fulfillment. Some people are lucky enough to intermix the two; most are not. Since I don't think you're taking huge personal and emotional fulfillment out of this job, make your objective GETTING PAID. And next year, when raises come around, your boss will sign your compensation paperwork - and you REALLY don't want to be the woman who uttered "hostile work environment" or started other fires in the office. Keep it mellow, smile, underpromise and overdeliver, and make your point where it matters --- at the bank ---
