Meshmar: It looks like the people who bashed you about your tag are back-tracking and editing their posts. As you well know, editing your posts doesn't do much good when someone else already quoted you . Since you felt like you were a member of the "test thread" community you may want to contact the posters that bashed you directly through PMs to work things out. I know that Bbgrizzle was just trying to be a good friend by posting here but this thread may have made things worse .

Yes, the 'bashers' are re-thinking things now that the tag has been changed ...

Personally, I will continue to post there occasionally to see if they might have me off ignore. As far as PMs ... they're the ones that need to work things out.

Make things worse? Not much more they can do other than place me on ignore - and they've already done that.

Not to go OT (ok, just for a sec) - but I second the hotness of your sig and would like to note that you're the first person I ever "met" who shares that opinion with me. Nobody else knows who he is!

My sig has been called "scary" Cracked me up. I was ready to rotate it out but then I liked that it scared people.

You'll find that there are a lot of us here on the board with great taste, CKAY87! It is surprising the number of people on the DIS who think they can take Gary away from me!
And I don't think Taylor looks scary in that pic at all, actually very handsome.

I remember that thread and posted on it. I wouldn't say you were "totally bashed". Most of us were just pointing out in that thread that the photo was too big (it was giant!) and that you needed to reduce the size. There was a turd in the punchbowl who was mean to you but the rest of us were not.

Oh no, I agree. I don't remember but one person being rude and there were VERY rude. BTW, I love the turd in the punchbowl--- well, not the actual thing but the saying. That is cute. Can I steal the turd in the punch bowl?

If they had a misunderstanding, I could see him trying to "work it out" with them, but I think what these posters did was patently unacceptable. I don't think pandering to the people who did it will help the problem. If anything it would validate what they did and only serve to increase their sense of self-importance.

There is nothing to "work out". They were wrong and their behavior was unacceptable.

You got me wrong! I agree with you on bullies. I wouldn't have changed my tag to begin with. But it seems that part of the hurt here is because the thread "owner" is now not responding to meshmar on the "test thread" even after he appologized and changed his tag. I was just suggesting that if he wanted to continue a relationship with the thread "owner" and his friends that airing dirty laundry here is not the best way to do that. If, in fact, he wants to alienate the thread "owner" and his friends then this thread is the ticket.
