isn't there one more podcruiseto give away?

I'm more of an Apple Pie girl. :goodvibes

Yes - loads of them - mince pies, steak pies, chicken pies and even macaroni pies but they dont sound as nice as banana creme pie and pumpkin pie ;)
I have to say, I love meat pies (maybe except the mince). When I lived in Michigan you could get a meat pie up north called a pasty, and I loved them. In fact, the more I think about it, they probably originated in the UK.

We love our pasties here - the original is the cornish pasty. I haven't had one of those for ages :confused3

First off...I :worship: to the hijack masters...

Secondly...um, duh....CAKE! I'm not really a pie person. Or brownies. Or cookies. But I do love my some ice cream!! :thumbsup2

Here we go with the pasties thing again...I am so not thinking of food when I see that word...:rotfl2:

You going to fill me in - I think I am lost in translation. A pasty is a pasty here :rotfl2:

A pasty with a long A is something used by female exotic dancers on certain parts of their anatomy (think above the waist).

A pasty witha short A (like in cat) is a hand held meat pie.

And now you know Kathy why I have quit drinking any type of liquid when I read these boards.

How to explain this with political correctness...um.....(family board family board family board)

If a woman is wearing a sheer shirt or bra and doesn't want certain, um, parts to be visible or become apparent, pasties are little stickers she can stick on that part to keep this from happening........

Hm. Yeah. That's as far as I go hahaha

You guys kill me - I would never have got that in a million years. The ones we get in this country are shaped like daisies not pasties :lmao: :lmao:

How often do I have to say it? BROWNIES

Kim

Oh yessss - we don't get good ones here :sad2:

I have to say I am not a great lover of the cheesecake

:scared1:

Don't you have meat pies in the UK?

We get pies in tin cans (they are shaped like bowls)! And usually Fish and Chips shops sell Pukka Pies - not my favourite :crazy2:

I agree Americans have a better pie ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: - Key Lime pie :thumbsup2

Yes - it is pastry will macaroni in the middle and a cheese topping

I've never even heard of those - sound good though ;)

Are you having haggis on Sunday?

Yup, origionally they pastry was used as a container for the filling and they didn't eat it :scared1: That's the best bit :rotfl:
