Holy! Now I have the FW52 in my head LOL…

Ohhh, the August 12th date rang my bell from a zillion pages back. The current Disney Chase Visa DVC promotion ends 8/12, so maybe that is the date that the game comes afoot! Here's a range of days from master declaration showing up until sales start.
Range has been anywhere from 5 days (PVB) to 131 days (CFW).
Here's a reference of past resorts and how many days between the master declaration (appearing on the county website) and sales starting. The actual dates for the master declaration being filed are roughly 7-14 days prior to this. (Delays in paperwork, similar to the way a contract is signed but typically takes 10-14 days to show up on the county website.
Days existing members had to purchase before sales to new members started (since VGF) range from
Values in parenthesis is the number of days after the master declaration showed up. As you can tell, PVB was significantly less. @Sandisw has previously posted she bought BPK opening day and her guide was telling her DVD didn't have the license to sell in her state until the last day or so. For that reason, if IT@PVB is to avoid the same fiasco they had in 2015 with the original PVB, I hope the master declaration to show up at least 50 days before sales begin to existing members.
Some believe sales will begin October 1.
If sales to existing members begin October 1, 50 days puts the master declaration showing up August 12.
If sales to new members begin October 1, (using BPK@VGF 78 days beforehand because they barely avoided issues for new members) the master declaration would have appeared on 7/15/24.

This is EXACTLY what I have been hunting for the last few weeks. I had it in my head that sales would start 5 months before the resort opened to cash guests so I was expecting some announcments earlier this month - now I know to chill for a bit. Thanks!!Here's a range of days from master declaration showing up until sales start.

Can’t wait to hear about your cruise. I’m leaning the same way - managing with existing points and supplementing with a cruise or something else. This is me! I was saving up to buy poly but they took so long, and then the rooms were so beige, so I booked a DCL cruise instead! I keep asking myself if I should reconsider and add on dvc points but now that I’ve had time to get excited about cruising, I think I’ll just stick with what we have points-wise and try to fit in a cruise every year or two instead.
This would set a new record for fewest days before opening that sales begin.
It's common for them to wait 3-4 weeks after existing member sales and new member sales.
Only showing the two resorts with a shorter timeline than we know right now. We are down to 152 days before opening.
Values in parenthesis are comparison to days until Island tower opening
PVB
CCV is the other association where Disney didn't release the master declaration by now.
- 84 days before opening master declaration released (September 24)
- 83 days before opening sales information released (September 25)
- 79 days before opening sales to existing began (September 29)
- 51 days sale to new members began (October 27)
- 146 days before opening master declaration released (July 24)
- 138 days before opening sales information released (August 1)
- 131 days before opening sales to existing began (August 8)
- 103 days sale to new members began (September 5)
I know it's not finished yet but.... blecch.Another article with images showing the progress on the Island Tower @ PVB.

I liked this quote:Yesterday, @tjkraz posted a DVCNews article on the construction update.

One thing I noticed in Tim's article was one of the glass areas is exposed on one of the triangle lookout areas. Giving us a slight peak at what they may look like. I wouldn't judge the look of that area right now. The artist renderings show that triangle concrete area will have Polynesian themed tattoo style artwork on the concrete walls.
Tikiman FB page also has more photos that were posted yesterday.
I believe 75-80 rooms have railings completely installed.
Somewhere, Disney Vacation Club executives and Disney Imagineers are laughing at all of us, still trying to figure out the exact purpose of these large cutouts in the building
It's coming along quickly - this place is going to be amazing!Yesterday, @tjkraz posted a DVCNews article on the construction update.

I won’t disagreeI hate to so directly tell someone they’re wrong, but these are the best straws:

C’mon, guys. This is a Polynesian thread. I think we all know the right answer here…I would argue that these are in fact better.
