Island of Adventure in December?

My son (20) and I will be in WDW 12/14-12/19 and would like to spend a day at IOA. I notice on the website that the hours are 9am to 7pm. Hopefully this time of year will not be too busy. If we arrive at the opening, do you think we could get most everything done by 5:30 or consider staying until 7:00 ?

I would consider staying until 7 since it will be crowded because it is one week from Christmas. Things get busy over the holidays. Just make sure you get a good morning ride run in at opening, use single rider, and use Express...
