Yeah! I was talking to a CM on the phone a while back and mentioned the Dis. She had no idea what I was talking about. So I said "gee, I thought all CM's knew about the Dis." She say's "what's a CM?"

Ahh, yeah. I called back and spoke with someone else.
I don't understand why you did that, or feel like this.
The DISboards, the boards' host site
www.wdwinfo.com, and all those other websites except Disney's own are UNofficial sites. Disney has NO connection with this site, or allears, or mousesavers, or any other such site.
Heck, I don't know everything about my employer, and there are only about eighty people in my office. I know what I need to know to get my job done.
As for "CM", "ADR", or pretty much any other non-solid abbreviation - again, it's not reasonable to be disappointed or have any other attitude or feeling when a Disney Cast Member doesn't recognize what you/we are talking about. They're not CMs, they're Cast Members; Disney doesn't take/make ADRs, they make dining reservations. HERE ON THE DIS, and I'd wager on other UNofficial sites, the participants create and use these abbreviations.
But to call back and speak to someone else because the person on the phone isn't aware of the DIS, or that she/he is a "CM"?
