Is your Halloween costume TOO good??

That's funny- I thought Tink would make a great costume because it would have less fabric (less sweat factor! :scared1:)-

The bra thing sounds great! That will definitely work out well, and stay put! ;)

I still can't decide what I want to be. But I better start thinking about it!

Yeah it really stinks that most costumes for adult women are "naughty" or whatever - like "naughty" nurse or "slutty" princess - talk about stereotyping women.
Ugh, yes. First off, not everyone wants to dress in naughty costumes. Second, not everyone has the figure for it. You do not want to see these thighs in those costumes, trust me! The worst I found, not in terms of naughtiness but just the concept, was the Naughty Nemo. WHAT?!

I was thinking of dressing as Tinker Bell but decided against it because of the wings. I'm now probably going to be a pirate, which is a little generic but should still be fun.

I got to know what a "naughty nemo" costume looks like...off to google:rotfl2:

It really was just like an orange and white striped tube dress with black ruffles I think. I've seen a lot more scandalous costumes, but who looks at Nemo and thinks "Man, what I wouldn't give to get that in the form of a hot chick"?

Better yet, don't answer that.

Anyhow, my mom is talented and kind enough to make my costume. We are using the costume that the Tinkerbell wears at Disney as a model. It will be kind of short (like the one at Disney's is, around mid-thigh) but I plan to wear bloomers underneath - like the kind you wear under a cheerleading uniform - so I won't flash anyone. :cheer2:

This was the problem I had last year I couldnt find any normal adult disney costumes, the offical one were boring looking and the dirty versions got too short or too revealing.

But I was amazed how they were able to extend past the Princesses, Alice characters, and fairy tale characters, and into pixar characters like Jessie, but disney are making offical liscend "sexy" costumes that aren't too dirty, my favorite is a shorter version of the sally costume that I wouldn't mind wearing at MNSHP sometime in the future.

OMG that "naughty" Nemo costume is just beyond! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Absolutely hilarious and at the same time, looking nothing like Nemo.

Probably would be safe to go as Harry Potter.

When we were at disney last year we saw several people dressed up as people from the haunted mansion, the bride, maid, waiter, etc.Wow were they great costumes.I honestly thought the were workers for the ride ,but no they were just guests dressing to the nines.I wish I had taken some photos.

anyone want to wear that naughty nemo costume for me, FREE trip to disney and mickeys not so scary .. PM for details :lmao:

My family is going as Peter Pan characters and I'm Wendy. I looked it up and all the Wendy costumes are "Naughty Wendy". Ugh. I'm looking for a pale blue night gown at second hand store that I can create my own costume from! I'm just not "naughty" enough for those pre-made costumes!!!

Last year we encountered 3 people dressed up as Oogie Boogie, Lock, and Barrel from Nightmare Before Christmas. We were so impressed with their costumes that we begged for them to take pics with us. NBC is my fav movie and WDW doesn't seem to honor this particular movie or its characters for its biggest holiday celebration. Other people were commenting on their costumes too. We also saw some girls dressed as Evil Queen and Celia (Monsters, Inc) and they were SUPER authentic looking. I stopped to tell the Celia-girl how great she looked, except she didn't speak English! If this girl has a great Celia costume, why can't Disney have one?

We saw the girls dressed as the Evil Queen and celia, too. They were amazing!

What is fun to go to Disney Party and not to wear character costume. I would definitely go as a princess, guess which one. Definitely no pictures or autograph for little ones.

I am game anything for a free trip to disney!! with a little effort I might be able to actually fit into that costume too

Last year we actually saw playboy bunnies at the party-can we say inapproiate (ok-I can say it but I sure cant spell it)

This year the kids are going as Harry Potter /Voldemort and DH and I will be Meg and Hercules- I can't believe he went for it after I forced him into a Mad Hatter costume last year I thought he would be donning a tshirt for sure.

Have you checked Ebay? You can probably find a blue nightgown/dress there that will work.

I can't either. I've seen some pictures of what people have gone as in the past, but I'm still at a loss as to what to be. . .

Okay, so I gave my mom a list of character ideas. I'll post it below:

Blue fairy from Pinnochio
Snow White
Cinderella
Fawn fairy from Tinkerbell movies - her costume is actuall quite easy & could be made from regular clothes
Rosetta fairy from Tinkerbell movies
Wendy from Peter Pan
Fairy godmother
Mickey Mouse Club member (easy costume w/ mickey mouse club shirt, red shorts and mickey ears)
Scarlett from Pirates of the Caribbean Ride - she's a redhead in a fancy dress
Woman pirate
Ghost from Haunted Mansion
Queen of hearts (modern Alice in Wonderland or animated)
White queen (from modern Alice in Wonderland)
Jessie from Toy Story
Bo Peep from Toy Story
Anastasia wicked stepsister
Cruella de vil
Evil witch from snow white
Pocahontas

There are a bunch of character photos here: http://www.charactercentral.net/ so you can see what the costumes look like. Hope that helps!

My wife did a great job of dressing me in a Captain Jack outfit. The adults and older kids knew it was not really him but there were plenty of little ones thinking I was the real deal....turkey leg was great too...:lmao:
