I think we have really spoild DD (4 years old, will be 5 in a few months.) We go to WDW once a year, sometimes a few times a year (with AP's). We talk about it all year, look at pictures, planing DVD's ect..... :goofy: :tigger: :mickeyjum :donald: :dumbo: :tink:

We yesterday we were at the local libary. She was running around a little play tree they have and yelling that she was on the boardwalk. Then inside the tree house was beaches and cream. The other side of the Libary was Epcot. The other little kids there had no idea what she was talking about, but went a long with it.

I almost felt she was a little impared. She doesn't unnderstand that everyone doesn't go to WDW all the time and thinks everyone knows all about it like her. :lmao:

Am I alone in this? pixiedust: :duck:

oh dont worry...i did the same thing when i was four...and i think i yelled at anyone who didnt go along with me! I found what she did cute and hilarious :lmao: I think your DD will grow up to be a DISer....but yes I still am WDW obbsessed..in fact im listening to my iPod and its all disney music...my friends love to make fun of me!

I supose my 1st mistake was making her 1st trip to WDW 8 weeks before she was born. :rotfl:

I think it is cute, but I wonder what other people think. Most likely the same thing they think about DH and myself! :teeth:

The kids I babysit play disney and they have not even been there. I dont know how they know about it. They go around and pretend they are seeing the characters. The boy likes to see Mickey, Donald and Goofy and the little girl likes the Little Mermaid. Just wait until they actually go there.

Well, we saw spotlights on the way home from a company party last night for my DH, and my 6 y.o. was sure they were coming from Downtown Disney. Oh, I wish he had been right.

When I back out of mom's driveway I see a white building with a red roof. As I glance at it, I always think I'm seeing the Grand Floridian! :)

I saw a hidden Mickey is a spray of flowers at my nana's funeral. DD saw it also.

There are others but I'll spare you!!

At Epcot 2 weeks ago, I looked up at Spaceship Earth and thought of someone here (I think it was becca's son) saying "Hold my Epcot" when he gave her a golf ball to hold!

We're all a bunch of weirdos.

Anytime my son sees a palm tree he remembers our times at Shades of Green (the palm tree is on the logo) and those wonderful memories of WDW and the monorail, etc. Oh, we need a WDW fix!

:thumbsup2 when dd12 was in pre-school, she had play time with another friend , the teacher told me that my dd started the play time with them packing the car, going on a plane to disney!!!!! she told the other little girl what to pack!!!! :woohoo: :yay: the teacher took picture's for us, it was quite a set up she had going on....... :hippie: :rotfl2: now at age 12 she can quote from the kids guide and know's all the cool stuff........ :cloud9:

My kids are the same way and they have only been once. I'm always trying to remind them that not everybody has gone or cares to go to WDW. They just don't get it.

DS came home from preschool the other day and told me they had watched a video of the local high school band marching somewhere. I asked, 'was it at Disney World?'. He looked at me like I was crazy and said, 'It was actually the Magic Kingdom, Mom.' I'm raising a Disney-snob already :clown: .

WE went to Target last night, and as we drove home into the garage my DD3 broke out into a full tantrum. When I got her calmed down enough to understand why she was so upset, she explained that she wanted to ride It's A Small World. When I told her we werent going to Disney right then, out came a whole new tantrum. :rotfl:

Ahh that's cute!

I hope that our DD likes Disney - It's DH's and my worse nightmare that she won't like it!! :rotfl:

YES! My DS, who will be 10 yo in June, is constantly making up games where they have to go on this ride or that ride. For months, all his imaginary quests had everyone riding Mission Space to complete their task. :teeth:

My DS10 talks about Disney constantly: Mom, if you could have 2 rides in the backyard from WDW, what would they be? Mom, if you could only go to one WDW park, which one would it be and why? Mom, I miss it. Mom can we listen to Disney music in the car? All his friends are ready to scream. Every time he has to write an essay for school, there is some reference to Disney. In music they had to listen to a piece of music that they had never heard before and then draw a picture showing what they imagined or felt. Josh drew a picture of Soarin'!!!! What can I say? I'm raising the boy right!!!

He still doesn't know we're going in a few months!!! Hopefully I can keep it a secret until we're on the plane!

:stitch: :goofy: :maleficen :sulley: :tigger: :ccat: :mickeyjum :donald: :dumbo: :simba: :figment:

P.S. I TOTALLY LOVE the new smilies!!! They are AWESOME!!! :cheer2:

This September my girls will be 8 and 3 and this will be my 8yr old's 6th time to WDW and my 3yr olds 3rd time to WDW. My 8yr old knows WDW like the back of her hand and could probably make a pretty good itinerary for people if asked

We talk about WDW all the time too and she now calls my DH, her daddy, the monorail driver everytime we go somewhere as a family. Then she proceeds to say the monorail recording when the van door shuts - even the Spanish one :) She cracks me up!!! :rotfl:

Our son is totally brainwashed at this point. He's 2.5 and been to the World 7 times.

Anyway, the best example of our brainwashing happened last week. DH had sorcerer radio playing on the computer. "It's A Small World" came on. DS started slowly turning his head and left & right while singing along. DH could not figure out what he was doing, so he asked him. Zack said "Small World Dolls." Duh - he was moving his head side to side like the dolls in the ride! That's my boy! :rolleyes1

These are all too funny. I don't feel so alone. :goodvibes

I have a friend who isn't as crazy about Disney as us, but has gone to WDW twice with us and always had a great time. DD trys to play Disney with her son (since they were there together) but he just starts to cry and says he want's to go back right now.) He doesn't understand the fun in pretending you are there.

My basement is a play room. DD and others (sometimes her dad, sometimes grandma) always "take trips all over WDW down there" they get autographes and ride rides. It is pretty funny. :cool1:
