Is Yeehaw Junction / The Ticket Spot gone?

We’re driving up from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando to visit Disney a week ago and decided to stop at Yeehaw Junction, this exit that primarily hosts an information center which sells discount tickets.

Traditionally, along the way you count the number of billboards for Yeehaw Junction, which start in West Palm Beach, and win a prize if you get the right count (I think it was 80). The billboards were all missing. Getting closer to the exit, we saw many (at least 10) huge billboards for The Ticket Spot, which apparently replaced Yeehaw Junction, and essentially begs you to pull over at the next exit for the best discounts on tickets!

So we pull over at the Yeehaw Junction exit and pay the Florida Turnpike Sunpass toll exit fee to discover (1) The Ticket Spot really has taken over for Yeehaw Junction and (2) The Ticket Spot is 100% out of business, completely boarded up with warning cones and wrapped in caution tape. Since I exited early before the next toll plaza, I had to pay a small assessment with Sunpass for having gotten off early. I wonder how much false revenue this is generating for Florida.

Anyway, is The Ticket Spot / Yeehaw Junction closed permanently?
