Is WDW a Coke or Pepsi park?

I love coke, Cheerwine is my favorite, but I love coke. I do not like the coke at WDW. It does not taste the same. It is as bad as the coke you get at BurgerKing. They have tweaked the formula or it is the bad tasting water that overpowers the taste.

I still drink it though.

Coke isn't mixed with local water, (bad tasting water) the carbonated water comes in tanks just like the coke syrup from the same supplier...the mixture of the two is regulated at each soda machine, the mixture can be effected if one of the tanks is low. (almost empty)

Yep, it still amazes me that I bought a timeshare where I can't get a Diet Pepsi! I hear you can't even get any Pepsi products within a few miles. Of course, there's always Winn-Dixie.

Just for the Pepsi lovers out there. It is relatively cheap to have Pepsi shipped to your room.

My husband may as well hook up an IV when he wakes up in the morning. He is a Pepsi addict. We were able to ship six 20 ounce six packs for our two week stay for about $25 dollars total. It was a guess and we only had a few left over.

www.netgrocer.com. You pay just above average for the pepsi and we only paid $5 shipping. Shipping is based on how much you spend. It was really reasonable and then I just tucked a bottle into my backpack for my husband in the parks.

sidenote... Many years ago a good friend of mine who is an exec at Dl told me that the Coca-Cola contract gives Disney Coke for free, but they pay for the other Coke products. Don't know which side of the fence Diet Coke falls on, but I thought it was an interesting story.

oh my gosh .. must be someone from North Carolina! How about some Sun drop?!

What I don't like about Coke having the exclusive rights at WDW is that there is no Snapple, things like that. I would love to see a nice wide selection at places like the food courts.

I was thinking the same thing! We sell Cheerwine in the glass bottles through our antique vending company. It is a huge seller!
