Is Turtle Talk With Crush a "must see" for adults?

We will be visiting in December - three adults and one rather petulant 14-year-old. Since we'll also be going to SeaWorld during our stay, we were planning to skip the Living Seas altogether. Now I'm wondering if Turtle Talk With Crush is that much of a "must see" for adults without younger children. I can understand that it would be exciting for parents who go with their kids, especially if the kids might get the chance to interact with Crush, but just didn't know if it's worth going out of our way for our (mostly)-adult group.

I would particularly like to hear from adults who have gone without children - and parents who can be objective about how much they would have enjoyed it if their children hadn't been there. TIA for your responses.

I though it was very cute, the technology is pretty cool (I'm not very high tech) and the jokes were amusing but would not do it again if it wasn't for my kids. Its kind of like watching someone home movies, you like it if you know who's involved but not worth it if you don't really care about them!!

We went in Dec just 4 adults in their fiftys. We all agreed it was adorable and we really enjoyed it. Give it a try

I'd say it's mostly geared for kids but if there's no waiting, it's a cool and pleasant place to sit and it is cute. My kids loved it but they are 10 and 7.

I feel pretty much the same way. It was cute and amusing but without having my kids there, I wouldn't say it was "must see." If you decide to venture into the Living Seas and there's not a wait, I'd check it out...the technology's pretty good.

We saw Crush in December and enjoyed the show and the reactions of the children. My sisters and I are 21++ and traveling without children. It only lasts about 15 / 20 minutes. I know we will go back to see the show again on our next visit to WDW.

We had 8 adults in our party of 12. All of us loved Turtle Talk With Crush. We were calling each other "Dude" all day! There was definately some adult humor that went over the yourger ones heads. It's a must see for us from now on.

I do have kids, 7 and 10, but I totally enjoyed this dude!

I think I would have loved it without kids, but then again...I did get to talk to Crush myself!

I think the technology is amazing...it is worth a look!

Hi,

It is just my husband and I and we did see Turtle Talk with Crush on our last tirp, Jan 2005. We thought it was a very cute show and the technology is great. If you are planning to go into the Living Seas anyway by all means catch this show, but I would not make a special trip into the Living Seas pavillion just to see this one show.

I saw it with 2 friends last month. I thought it was really cute, one of my friends even spoke up and talked.

I loved this! My boyfriend and I are merely children at heart, but we enjoyed this more than all the children at the showing we went to, I think. It was very enjoyable, very cute, and the technology as others have said was really great. Definitely don't pass it up!

My DW and I saw this show in December and really enjoyed it because of the real time interaction of Crush with the audience, kids and adults included. We had not been to the Living Seas for years, but will go again because of this attraction. I would recommend going just for this attraction.

DW and I are mid 40s. We saw it 4 times in March and we didn't have kids. The highlight was when Crush says to Bill, Hey Bill, (who he just talked talked to because of his grommet), tell the person you're talking to on your cell that you're talking to a turtle in EPCOT. Bill's jaw dropped. :rotfl2:

In the same show we saw Crush converse in fluent Japanese with a member of the audience.

IMHO, it is a must see for all.

DUUUDE....it totally rocks dude!!
we loved it, we were there with ds, who did get to talk with crush quite a bit, but we would go again even if we were without ds. it takes around 15 min. a nice chance to sit and laugh. some jokes are over the kids heads, and others are just plain cute and corny.

i give it two flippers up dude!!

I saw it in March and loved it as well. I am 35 and without kids and would go back in a minute. I was wondering does anyone know how this attraction actually works? I am so into the workings of attractions and the how tos and am very curious about this one.

In January, myself, my DD's 13 & 17 and my DD's friend 17 saw Turtle Crush one morning. We went straight to the show and didn't really look at anything else. They *loved* it, even though they all sat with the adults in the audience and none of them actually spoke with Crush. I heard alot of "dudes" the rest of the day.

That afternoon my DD(13) dragged me from the World Showcase all the way back to the Living Seas to just see the show again. It was just as cute the second time, and while the show was similar was not really the same.

I'd say watch it, even without kids. It doesn't take very long if you don't check out the rest of Living Seas.

It is very cute. I would strongly recommend this show to everyone regardless of age

Aside from a couple of rides I REFUSE to go on because I like coming out of them alive :rotfl: pretty much anything is a must see for me so I can at least experience it one time. After that, we determine if it's a "must see again". :earboy2: I'm looking forward to seeing this one actually.

I think it's a must-do at least once. Sure I have kids, but this is something I look forward to going back to for ME, not for the kids. I think I found it more fascinating than they did!
