I found some flights on Travelocity that are about $400 cheaper than the airline. Are they OK to deal with? If I book with them will my reservation be in the airline system? Help I never book with Travelocity before.
Thanks Shelby

I have booked flights as well as whole vacations with both travelocity and expedia. I never had a problem with any reservation. HTHs! :flower:

Travelocity is completely reputable. I've been booking hotels and flights with them for years.

Once you book, your air ressie will be in the airline's system and subject to the airline's rules for changes and cancelation.

Yep. Completely legit. Although I'm really surprised that you found cheaper fares there. I've never found a fare on Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz that I couldn't get directly from the airline.

I have booked htoels and air thru Travelocity many ties and never had a problem. Always check the airline's own site though once you have seen the prices on Travelocity. You can sometimes at least save the $5 per ticket reservation charge Travelocity charges. BUT my most amazing Travelocity story is that last year I booked 2 round trip tickets to Italy thru Travelocity for under $500 (yes, for both tickets, round trip!!!) and let them assign our sets...guess where we were seated on BOTH transatlantic legs of the flight? FIRST CLASS!!!!!!!!! So my only surprise with Travelocity has been a wonderful one!
