Is Trader Sam's at WDW ECV-friendly?

It sounds like it's tricky to get a table at Trader Sam's under the best conditions, so I'm wondering how much luck we'd have as a group of 4 with someone in an ECV. Alternatively, can ECVs be parked outside the bar?

The inside of Trader Sam's is very small and tight. I'm not sure an ECV would be able to fit, especially with the servers walking to each table and the effects going on when certain drinks are ordered. You would most likely have to park the ECV outside before entering.

I strongly recommend it, if you can walk short distances. The problem is, there really isn't any place right outside to park that isn't blocking the hallway (except outside on the lanai.) Try to find a place where you won't prevent other mobility devices from getting through; if you do go late enough in the evening that Captain Cooks is closed, you may be able to park right there in that corner where it widens out.

We have never been in there in the last 10 years when it wasn't just insanely crowded. Frankly, we rarely go anymore; it's just not worth the hassle for us.

I do take my power chair in, and remain seated in it. The staff is always very helpful, and friendly, and if you can get in, you should have a good time. It can be very noisy and a bit chaotic, so keep that in mind if you have anyone in your group who might be affected by that.

A power chair will fit. They have a few places they can move chairs from the seated tables. I don't see how a rental scooter could fit. I doubt it would be allowed.
