There's frequently questions on the Parks Game thread relating to Toontown and I never know the answer, because simply enough, we haven't been there since it was Mickey's Starland. The reason is that my kids are older (I mean older like late teens) and we never thought it would appeal to older kids. SO I got to wondering, am I missing something by avoiding Toontown?

Nope..nope.nope..:bounce:

It has tons of stuff for the younger crowd, but we ALL love walking through Mickey and Minnie's House and the Barnstormer as well!

See ya in the CC...

Toontown is also one of the best places to find a character that even some of the older ones might want to see. It varies daily but in general, at the Judges' Tent and at the Big Top, one can find:

* Mickey
* Minnie
* Pooh characters
* Princesses

The built-in jokes and details in Toontown are amazing. It is definately worth a walk-through. I never miss it - especially the mouse houses. It is too bad, though, that there really isn't a ride like Roger Rabbit's Toontown Spin that Disneyland has. That would really draw all ages into the land.

It's definitely worth a walkthrough - but the coaster and other attractions really are for children. Plan on half an hour or so. We tried Goofy's coaster, and if the line if more than a few minutes it is definitely not worth it for an adult. The ride itself is VERY short. It just gives kids a taste of what a roller coaster is like.

This is one area where Disneyland wins hands down. It is much better themed in Disneyland and Roger Rabbit is a fun ride for kids and adults alike.
