Welcome to my first attempt a Trip Report! I’m hoping I will be able to make this interesting and get through with it before school starts up in September, after that I make no promises ;) This trip included firsts, drama, rain, unbearable heat, and of course lots of fun and memories!

So let’s get started with basics!
Where: Pop Century
When: July 6th – July 11th
Who:

Me – Nichole – 24 year old college student. Yes I have been out of high school since 2005, but I’ve worked full-time and have changed my major 4 times now. My current(and LAST) major is Hospitality & Tourism, my goal…work for Disney, I love planning trips of all kinds for people and would like to work in customer service at one of the hotels or anywhere in the world(as long as it’s with Disney)! My favorite rides are Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania, but my favorite thing in WDW is Fantasmic, my favorite character is Tinkerbell! This was a trip of firsts for me in the sense that I had to go Gluten & Milk Free, let me tell you it takes all the good stuff away!! No tie-die cheesecake for me :sad2:. This is my 7th trip.

DMom – Earlene – 59 year old special ed. teacher in a somewhat inner city school. This is her 6th trip, I believe. She absolutely loves Disney, and is in love with the magic! Her favorite character is Eeyore, she loves It’s a Small World (especially with her 2 year old niece), and Spectromagic is her favorite show/parade (she was very disappointed when I told her it isn’t there right now).

DGrandma – Arlene – 85 year old grandma. Not much to say about her except she is a wonderful grandma! She has taken us on 3 previous trips (graduation presents) and this trip was no exception! She loves watching her grandkids experience everything and just likes to sit on a bench in the shade and people watch! I really don’t know what her favorites are…she kinda enjoys everything, and although she didn’t ride Space Mountain this trip, our first trip with her she did and loved it!

DBrother – Andrew – 21 year old college student. He is like many typical guys, won’t admit he likes Disney. He however does not like the heat, and would rather go in the winter or early spring, but because of school that is not an option right now. His favorite rides are any thrill ride with the exception of Tower of Terror (no heights for him). His favorite thing to do though is eat, he loves our meals, and because we get the dining plan, chooses the most expensive thing, usually, to eat.

DUncle – Steve – 45 year old health care worker. Steve isn’t much of a theme park person either, but because of his two kids, he will tolerate (and even have fun) in Disney. He loves thrill rides and music, all the parades and shows are big hit for him, however does not like waiting for them!

DAunt – Robin – 35 year old teacher. This was an interesting trip for her, she was 7 months pregnant with her 3rd child. However, out of everyone she was the fastest, and wanted to keep going no matter how she felt. Wonderful person who loves music as well and her kids. She enjoyed everything that she could do, and mostly watching the kids reactions to EVERYTHING!

DCousin1 – Solomon – 4 year old who reached the 40 inch mark for this trip! He as been 1 other time, but doesn’t remember it as he was 14 months old. Timid is a good way to describe him, not a big thrill ride fan, although he LOVED Star Tours, and all the characters he could find! Solomon is a smarty pants, the way he talks and describe things is definitely shocking, and we got some laughs out of what he said! His favorites right now are anything Star Wars, food and animals (especially the gorillas)!

DCousin2 – Abigail – tiny 2 year old, who experienced her first trip! She was not a fan of characters AT ALL, she was fine looking and waving from afar, but other than that she had to be held. Her favorite ride was by far It’s a Small World. We dressed her up like Cinderella, in a homemade dress and crown, and she was adorable(but I am partial), but she got so much attention, I think part of it is she is so tiny! Working on potty training but didn’t force the issue on vacation.

So that is us! I’ll be back later to add pictures and to start our trip!!! Hope you enjoy!

I'm in! We just got back from a trip with family, so I can't wait to hear all about your trip! Hope you had as good a time as we did!
