Is this weird...?

He only has to be rich so he can pay for our WDW wedding and our annual trip to WDW :goodvibes (sometimes Semi-Annual  )

even tho its expensive, u have to realize that its a fantasy wedding.....i rlly wish i'd get married there! i want to be propsed to when the fireworks are going on and there's a fire work with my name asking if i will marry my prince charming........oh well, for now i need to find a boyfriend....i've had a few but none are husband type.....more like bestfriend type............

I always wanted to be proposed to at the castle. either on the bridge going to it or at cinderella's fountain. I actually saw a disney proposal the last time I was there. in the middle of main street right as the park was opening and everyone was running in.

The fireworks thing reminds me of "Full House" LOL...I was watching it last night (only because they were at WDW) and the father proposed to his girlfriend and he had the question shoot up in fireworks!

Sorry to be :offtopic: but I wonder what would happen if she said no? But who would say no at Disney ;)

I would never say no at Disney...if I get asked at Walt Disney World, that means the guy really knows me and accepts that I am a huge Disney fan! Lol...and if he's my boyfriend that means I really care about him...so anyone who "pops" the question to me there can expect an almost definate "yes"! LOL.

actually, I can't imagine saying no to a proposal. period. I mean, if they care about me enough to ask me to spend the rest of my life with them, I can't imagine saying no. :confused3 (keep in mind, I mean someone that i've been dating and know. I've had strangers yell a proposal at me from across the street before, so I don't mean like that)

I agree! I don't think I could turn down a proposal either! I mean, if he went through the process of buying a ring, planning how to propose, and then anxiously and nervously waiting to ask the question (because guys can't always be THAT confident that the girl will say yes)...and if he did ALL that just for me...well, that shows me something!

::yes:: Very true

I think all just depends on if your meant to be. my mom's proposal was my dad saying "Uh. . . I guess this is about when I should ask you to marry me?" :rotfl2: Bear in mind that he was dropping her off at her apartment between two dumpsters because he couldn't find a parking spot. That would in my opinion be hard to say yes to but she did and 23 years and FOUR kids later their marriage is a success.

Oh, my husband is DEFINATELY going to be a disney fan because I already plan to use our DVC points for a WDW/Disney Cruise honeymoon!

Not only to proposals, but also to going out. Believe me... "Dance with DJ" in two days, suspense building for all my friends. I'm having a nervous attack build. Sorry, that was off-topic.

I don't know if whoever I am marrying is a Disney fan will affect it. But, maybe it's if they don't despise it that matters. Oh well...

I don't know about saying no to a proposal...I mean of COURSE you would want to say yes for all the aforementioned reasons...but what if you really loved the guy but weren't ready to commit yet? Or if you loved him but weren't sure he was the right one to spend the rest of your life with? I mean, do you go out with a guy in high school or even college with the thought "this man must be the person and have all the qualities of someone that I am spending the rest of my life with?" Just putting that out there... :confused3 Don't mean it harshly...

I agree with you lol. I have thought about that hundreds of times...I would feel awful if a guy asked me to marry him but I wasn't really "ready". I wouldn't have the heart to say no...

We are very obligated to plan things like this. We're girls!

Although I have never actually planned out a proposal, my whole wedding has been planned!
How does this sound?:
Outside on a cool summer night.
Under a sheer white tent, that you can see the stars through.
Everything white, and all twinkle light and candlelit!

And of course, a Disney honeymoon! :teeth:

so glad to have found this topic and am glad to find I'm not the only one who wants a disney wedding, and maybe proposal but I'm not picky :teeth: The sad thing is I'm only 15 and have so many years to wait still but I have the theme picked out and maybe the location!

Oh? Share.

Well I've always loved Beauty and the Beast so I figured that could be a good theme, and going along with that the Paris Pavillion would be good too (that is if MK isn't available, I can dream can't I?). I found invites already and cake toppers too, I can only hope they'll still be for sale 8 to 10 years from now :) Oh and I also found a dress which I think would be perfect but again 8 to 10 years, who knows what the style will be then!
