The previous name of California Grill was Top of the World. The dinner show held there was Broadway at the Top. I was able to see it twice before the conversion. It was wonderful.

Thanks for the memories Chuck, how soon we forget! LOL!

Chuck, you and I are on the same wave length, but for different reasons, since I don't go to CG for the fireworks anyway. I want it to return because it was always something I wanted to do, and never got the chance. They need more dinner shows than just Hoop de Doo and Spirit of Aloha.

I totally agree. I always enjoy the HDDR, but I have been going to see it since the 70's and it hasn't changed. The Luau has changed, and I haven't seen the new version, but it is still a luau. Let's get some new dinner shows!

Last time we were there at the end of July it was insane! We had a dinner reservation and know it usually takes about two hours to complete the meal with drinks, apps, main course with wine, and dessert with coffee. I was amazed at the number of people just hanging out and nursing a drink, as well as the number of small unattended children running around. We also opted for a non window seat rather than wait forever to eat. We went for the dining experience, the fireworks were just a wonderful additon.
