Is this true? EMH + BOG reservation

Hi

I have a reservation for BOG on June 9th at 8:25 AM. We are staying on property and there are EMH from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Is really possible to get inside before 8:00 a.m? If it is, at what time should we be there?

It's my first time with a reservation before park opening.

On an non-EMH morning, you'd be able to get in by 7:45. On an EMH day, it'll be a little closer to 8:00a. All ADR guests for the first hour of the day are allowed to enter at that pre-opening time.

I read that in some cases they let in before and could have breakfast before your actual reservation time but I guess no with EMH

@Danilu ~ you'll be seated as soon as you reach BOG. So figure on being seated at 8:00 but all the EMH guests will be riding 7D while you eat.

I would 110% NOT want to have an ADR during AM EMH, if I was eligible to attend the EMH.

If I have to get up that early and get to the park, I'd, for sure, want to RIDE attractions for that first golden hour.

We had an 8:00 BOG ressie in February. Arrived at 7:15, checked in, and lined up on the far left, along with everyone else that had adr's that morning. The CM's let all ADR folks through the gate at 7:50, regarless of ADR time. We had plenty of time to grab a pic on Main St and then head to BOG.

I am worried about the same situation. I have an 8:15 reservation for BoG, right now park opens at 9, so I think it'll be worthwhile, but if they change park opening to 8, I will cancel the reservation. Ours is not on an EMH day.

Yes. You'll need Reservations to eat at BOG at any time of day.

If it's the only time you can eat there, pre-order your breakfast, arrive before 8:00a, eat quickly, and exit to ride the rides that are open during EMH.

That's the same experience we had. It was actually nice to walk down Main Street and take a bunch of pictures with open views in the background.

If you really want to eat breakfast there I would try for the latest breakfast. Go on rides right at 8 then take a break around 10 and eat breakfast. I would skip it though and try for lunch. I really liked lunch there.
