We've booked the holiday of a lifetime.

We starting off by staying at the Radison (family room, runway view!!) the night before.

Travelling in the premium cabin for three weeks at the Grand Floridian.

We've booked our ADRs and we're also going to book a fireworks cruise and arrange a cake forDs birthday. WE CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

We can't travel down in our car becuase DSx2 DW and I can't fit in with 4 suitcases. So, we were going to arrange for a taxi. NOw, a family at my work own a Limo firm and I think that they are so chavy (might have spelt that wrong) (i'm talking about the limo by the way - the family are lovely!!!) , but they are offering it me for a reduced rate so I'm wondering if it would be just too much to have a limo ride to the airport and a limo ride back!!??? Is it really tacky? Should I just book the taxi? I know that no one on here can tell me one way or the other, but your opinions really help!!!

Thanks!

Who cares if it is chavey if it is cheaper and safe take it. I don't like them either but I wouldn't turn it down if it meant saving money for spending on my holiday. Acdtually would they drop us off as well :)

Question which airport are you flying out of I like the idea of a runway view room what a great way to start your holiday watching the planes take off Cullen would love it.

Manchester. I phoned the RAdison (becuase I liked the idea of the Skywalk!!) and they said that all there family rooms have runway views. My sons are gonna love it!!! We're also booked breakfast there too, so we can eat before checking in.

That sounds great, shame we are going out of Gatwick although trying to get round on the M25 it might be easier to drive to Manchester :)

We booked the Radisson the night before last year. Got up at 6am for our 10.30 flight, checked in and then had breakfast in the terminal about 8am. I felt so much more alert and well when we arrived in Orlando this year because of it. I would say great choice Kev.

4 suitcases going out!!!:scared1: You'll need another plane coming back with all your purchases! We manage 2 suitcases with 2 empty holdalls inside that way we only have to worry about the lack of room on the way back.
Go for the limo-sunglasses,cheap wig, false noses nobody will know it's you!:lmao:
SD:thumbsup2

Shooby - to clarify the four suitcase thing. They're all half empty when we leave, but full when we return and we are going for three weeks!!!!!

I'd do it!!! It'll be a laugh and you'll never forget it as a start to your holiday... :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

PS: 3 weeks at the Grand Floridian sounds like my idea of heaven, by the way...

I would go for the limo if its a once in a lifetime trip.
we also love the raddison.
we usually check in our luggage and then go back to the hotel and have a wonderful breakfast.
its location is superb.
have a great time.

Book the limo!

I'm sure your two son's would LOVE it! :thumbsup2

We're doing the same as you for our April trip, we're booked into the Raddisson the night before we fly. Called in last weekend and requested a runway view also, that way we can sit with a glass of wine and watch the planes come in and take off - great start we think! The plan then is to get up early, check in our luggage and head back to the hotel for breakfast and a freshen up before going through to departures and duty free! :thumbsup2
