We are going to be with our then almost two year old.
We will be at WDW 4 nights and staying at the Poly.

1st night- 1900 Park Fare

2nd day- Breakfast in room
lunch counter service in MK
Diiner- 50's Prime Time

3rd Day - Breakfast- Crystal Palace
lunch- counter service
Dinner- Akershus

4th Day - Breakfast in room
lunch counter service
dinner- Chef Mickey's

5th day - Kona's for breakfast before leaving
Or should we do Ohana's

Does this look like too many sit downs or character meals?

I sure don't think it's too many. :) I have that many on mine for my trip next week. (I have Garden Grove to see Timon and Rafiki instead of 1900 Park Fare, though. The rest of mine are the same places as yours.) I hope your little one has a fantastic time!

Looks good to me - I might go with Ohana for the last morning breakfast. Stitch is usually pretty funny. Both Kona and Ohana have good breakfast offerings.

Have fun!

I second that. Stitch is a riot - my DS8 & DD5 just loved him. And they liked the food - its the usual breakfast fare but they loved it. We had 4 character meals when we went - I had scheduled 5 but ended up cancelling it as the kids were tired and didn't want to go back to MK for dinner. I think you have a good number.

I don't think it is too much, but you might want to have the flexibility to go elsewhere if the little one is scared of the characters.

This is the only day that concerns me. We couldn't eat two table service meals in a day. We had a breakfast and dinner booked one day. We canceled breakfast and shared a counter service breakfast platter. We chowed at our buffet dinner though!

After seeing the photo of your beautiful princess I'd suggest the following:
- Save Akershus for another trip, you are already doing 1900 Park Fare
- Add the Playhouse Disney breakfast or lunch at MGM, this is actually the meal we canceled; your princess is the perfect age for this meal and it likely features characters she knows, there is dancing, singing and timeouts for the little ones to return to their tables with strict instructions to eat, then it starts all over again! The stories and photos I've seen on this site are just the cutest
- I would even do the Playhouse Disney in lieu of 50's if you only get one shot at MGM

So to answer your question, no I don't think you have too many character meals. I also think 1900 Park Fare dinner is a good one to start with. You'll have an excellent meal and get to test the character waters with "face" as opposed to puppet characters. Some kids are more afraid of the puppet type. I recall being terrified of the Planter's Peanut man on the Atlantic City boardwalk at 4yrs old. He was just too tall! :rotfl:
