Is this the 1st year there is no GP code for summer?

I was looking back at the GP discounts from years past and it seems this year is the only year there are absolutely no room only discounts available for July and early August. Is this true or am I missing something? I know there was free dining but I need a room only for several nights we are going to Universal but staying at Disney.

There are currently room only discounts for Deluxe Resorts and Villas that cover dates up to August 14th. Click on Special Offers on the home page and this offer is the first one on the list. I believe it states "up to 30% off."

I wonder if they will put moderates and values at a discount later and that they are trying to fill the more expensive rooms first? Maybe they think once people get excited about staying at a deluxe, they won't change their minds and stay at a less expensive resort to save money? I know when I made my reservation, the CM said they don't need to discount rooms in the summer because they fill the rooms without discounts. We'll see. As of right now, the dates I am going, I can pick any room category at ANY value or moderate and there is availability. And I am only three months out.

On our first trip in 2008 we booked about 6 weeks in advance for our late July stay and there were no public discounts.
