Exactly! I am floored that people actually spend real money on virtual things! I can understand the cards, because they're neat and actually tangible, but to drop the equivalent of a car payment on something that exists only on my computer screen is beyond insane to me.

From what I've heard there's only about five of these...so if that's true (or even if there's less than 10), it would be kind of easy to figure out who that was if somebody actually buys it.

Or $500 for a pair of jeans that they can get somewhere else for $15? Or $1000 for a hand bag (actually the logo on the hand bag) when they can get one that looks just like it (sans the logo) for $10?

Or why people will pay $1000 to step on an airplane when their toaster oven doesn't even work properly?

Hmm..okay got a little carried away there...but my point is...some people just have nothing else to spend their money on...so why not their hobbies? Personally I'm glad this is happening on Ebay and not actually from Disney. Would you really play VMK if they started charging that kind of money for it?

You've got a point there. I moved into an apartment almost 3 months ago and I still haven't bought a couch and my car battery is almost dead, but I'm sitting on Ebay looking for VMK cards instead.
