is this rare? a picture with mickey and minnie?

We got them both at Chef Mickey's. It was early around 7:30am and Mickey and Minnie both came to our table. I got pics of the kids with both of them.

I was told by a cm at Chef Mickey's that Mickey and Minnie don't normally do photos together because it can actually be dangerous! He said that they get mobbed if they are together because so many people want pics....anyone heard that?

Never heard that one. Whenever we see them in twos there are people in nice lines with CMs just like any other pic opportunity. We see them quite a bit together for pics.

The only time I had the opportunity was when I was a Disney Store Asst. Mgr. and we had a character meet & greet... before the greeting started, all the CM's got a chance for the rare photo op!!!

We were coming out of AK on Friday (the day of the RECORD RAINFALL!) and Mickey and Minnie (in Safari khakis) were standing near the exit. We took a picture of DS with both of them. Very nice end to a really soggy day!

Like others have said, one e-night, we saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald all together...Of course, no camera that night....Aargh!

We actually have one of both our kids with Mickey, Minnie AND Pluto! It was at a MVMCP and there was absolutley NO ONE there that night. It would've been about 7 years ago and MVMCP didn't get as crowded then as it does now.

After arriving here today, we went over to Ak for EMH and got a picture of both Mickey and Minnie in safari over at Camp Minnie Mickey. We were the only family there at about 6:45, and had about 5-10 minutes alone with them. My 1 1/2 year old was speechless (not that he says much anyways) and all he could do was smile. He gave Mickey five, and Minnie hugged and kissed him. My 4 yeard old hid behind Daddy's legs. After we finished with the pictures, my little one just kep staring, so we stepped back and I set him down, and he just stood there in awe at them. Then, their time was up and when Mickey began to walk away, my little one said, MICKEY! All night now he's been saying, Mickey, five, Minnie , hat (cause the safari hats!). What magic!

I can't recall ever seeing them together in the parks, so I guess it must not happen very often. Of course, it's a rare thing these days to have photo ops with more than one character at a time, because if you have 100 people waiting for 2 characters, the wait time for each one is much shorter than if you had 100 people all in the same line to get pics with both characters.

That's exactly what happened with me. It was right after the first show of the day on the stage in front of the castle.

In front of the castle, all the other characters were getting mobbed by kids, but Mickey and Minnie were around back all by themselves.

OH MY!!! That's the same location that her picture was taken!!! Maybe we should spend some time hanging out there on our next trip!!! I would LOVE to have a pic with Minnie and Mickey and my four DD's!!!

It was along the pathway that leads towards Toontown and Tomorrowland.

I've got one.....it's a pretty amazing story....

Our first trip to WDW with my twin DD's in 2002. I had not been to WDW since my Senior trip of High School (1987) and my DH had never been.....

On our first full day, we had early PS at CRT and it was a rainy day - I was kind of disappointed!! We were running a little bit early, so we were walking slowly down Main Street, just taking it all in. Now, mind you....I had planned excessively for this trip!! I had become so obsessed that my DH had actually sent me a dozen yellow roses to my work with a card from "Mickey" saying we would have a wonderful time, not to worry....I think I had read every single post on the Disboards - I was so obsessed, I was making myself sick!!

Anyway....as we go around the corner, heading up to the castle on the stairs, we find Mickey and Minnie - ALL BY THEMSELVES!!!! It was like God had sent them there just for me!! I started to ball my eyes out!!! We took ton's of Pic and even got it on video!! Then, behind Mickey and Minnie there was Alice and the Mad Hatter - they were wonderful with my girls. They played games and really goofed around with them.....From that moment on....I was hooked!!! I now practically live, eat and breathe Disney!! I can't get enough of it!!

I'm sorry to ramble on.....I still get tears in my eyes when I think of the moment when I had Mickey and Minnie all to myself!! It was truly MAGIC!!

We had the earliest seating at CRT. Upon leaving, we stumbled upon them towards the back side of the castle. There's a gift shop around the back exit from the breakfast - they were right up the path! I'm sure it was very early and before the big show. No body was there and we had tons of time with them! This was in April 2004. Good luck!
