Is this possible on the Dining Plan??

I posted this on someone's thread, but I thought I'd start a thread of my own so more will see it:

My question is, since there will be 4 adults (well, 3 real adults and one "child" adult) and we all get appetizers and desserts, is is possible for us to give our appetizer and/or dessert to another table where people are dining? Can we tell the server "Let that table over there order an appetizer/dessert on us" ???

That would be a nice way to spread the magic, and we will still feel like we are getting all that comes with the plan.

I hope so because we also had planned on doing this, I would think that the waiters/waitresses would be ok with it because after all they want you to order a lot to bring the total up.

I figured they might not ' deliver ' it to the adjacent table but we would just pass it over.

Someone on the board wrote that they sent thier desserts over to another family with teens and they had no problem and the kids loved it.

I am hoping that they let the family we give our appetizers/desserts to choose what they want.

The other thought I had was how will we know if other families are using the meal plan or not?? They won't really want our appetizers if they have a bunch of their own from the meal plan. Hmmmm....
