How hard is it to coordinate your time in GE?

We go in October and we have a full 5 days (plus a 6th day for OBB) and we are staying at DLH. We purchased tickets for 1 day per park and genie plus. Early entry should also be back. Our first day at Disneyland I would like to rope drop Fantasy land/ Tomorrowland. But then either around lunch time or dinner time I want to do star tours, build the cheap sabers in tomorrow land and then try to coordinate a smugglers LL, a rise ILL and a mobile order lunch at docking bay 7 or Ronto Roasters. My son also wants to do Savy's...
How hard is that going to be to coordinate all that?

With Genie+, not hard at all IMO. Rope drop Fantasyland unless you really want to ride Space Mountain or Star Tours over and over. The wait is walk through for a good part of the morning. Star Tours does not get busy until around 11am and the LL is maybe a 5 minute out selection. Sabers are in the gift shop for Star Tours. Book a MFSR LL as you are wrapping up or maybe a little before, walk over to the ride and board. The ILL for Rise is tricky just because the ride goes down frequently. It will convert to an anytime ILL if Rise goes down. Lunch shouldn't be too difficult. Maybe aim for around 1pm.

Would your son rather build a lightsaber at Savi's? You could build one after lunch and head back to the hotel with it.

The only limiting factor would be the Smugglers Run LL. That’s the only thing you don’t have THAT much control over, but just book it while you are in line for star tours and I’m sure it’ll fall somewhere in your window.

So you want to build the cheap light sabers in TL and also do Savi’s? Good plan to do the cheap ones first, ha ha. That experience looks pretty quick and easy.

Make sure you watch the ILL times for Rise early so you can buy when the time works for you. They can go really fast. I once got 2:30pm at 9:30am.

I think that is definitely doable, but it will mean a bit more time on the phone stalking the LL and ILL$ times so you can get them just right. Just be prepared for that and it should work out well!
