Is this odd?

I don't think it's odd; you enjoy spending time with your parents and have a place you like to do it at. Nothing wrong with that. I have a teenager so it's touchy but we share many of the same interests as well.

I'm 24 as well and I went to Disney with my parents last year. I had a great time as much fun as when I was younger maybe because we spent a lot less time in the boiling heat around fantasyland!

I also felt that as I was an adult I could have a little bit of space, this usually involved me going shopping whilst the waited somewhere nearby that sold food!

Go and have fun! I'm 30 and last July my sister (25) and brother (27) - along w/ his little girl - all went to Disney with my parents. We had a great time. I'm planning a trip next May and am hoping my mom or dad can join me.

I'm 26 and took my mom for her birthday last year. I guess it was kind of a thank you for when she took me as a kid.

Not odd at all! You will probably have more fun with your parents than you would with your friends! I am going for a mommy/daughter trip soon and I am 30! :thumbsup2

I don't think you're weird at all, well, unless my kids are weird.

On Easter Sunday, my 80 yo father said to me, I think we need to do Disney this year. With that, both my 31yo daughter and 23 yo son shouted, "let's go!"

Maybe it's just our family, but our kids are always up for a trip if the timing is right for them, and it's not just Disney. I think it says a lot about your family that the generations get along well enough to spend what little vacation time they have together. :thumbsup2

Definitely not weird - I'm in the process of convincing my mom (55) to take me (37), my sis (32) & my niece (3). The idea of sharing a "generational" trip makes it even more fun!

It's not weird at all. I take my parents to Disney every other yr with me. I LOVE the time I get to spend alone with them. Have an awesome trip.

I wouldn't worry about it, when the time comes it just all works out :) Plus i go a lot with my parents and they end up getting tired and want to go relax and im 28 so i meet up with them later for a fast food break or a walk around a place like downtown disney. Sometimes its nice to take a walk around the resort, you know its like taking a walk around the neighborhood at home, i bet you do that sometimes, right????? :P

You are so right...that is a great way to put it. I mean I love walking around the neighborhood or just relaxing alone, and then I will still have plenty of time to enjoy with my parents who are really excited to go. Plus who knows who you may meet at the world, right?!?

Right, someday your Prince will come ;) If your a gambling girl it just might be October.

Not weird! I am 22 and going with my mom next month. We are meeting one of my best friends and her mother there, as well. So not weird. If we were going anywhere else, my dad would have come too, but he strongly dislikes Disney.

I love going on vacation with my parents. We always have a good time.

Not weird...I'm 34 and my sister is 40 and we are going with our parents in September. My grandparents live in Daytona so each summer since 1979 we would go to MK. I remember ticket books and visiting the observation platform when they were building Epcot. So my family has been to Disney, many many many times! It will be my Dad's 63rd B-day and the first time parents and sis have stayed on Disney property. We can't wait!

I dont think its weird either..im 24 and have gone on cruises and to disney with my parents and brother in the past couple of years...We have a blast everytime! some of my friends dnot want to cruise, go to disney, etc, and theres no "mr right" so might as well travel with family!

Not a single man either but I am 21 and I go with my mom every year... so I don't think it's weird.

I am just happy I get along with my mom since a lot of people I know don't seem to.

I am 25 and I still love going to WDW with my parents! Hey! If they want to spend their money on gifts and mickey premium ice cream bars for me, I don't think that's such a bad thing :rotfl:

I don't think so. I went with my parents on their first and only Disney trip when I was about that age. It was a great trip. That was many years ago and they are both deceased. I'm glad I have those memories.

Our sons are 24 and 21 and we still go together and have a GREAT time. We'll be there May 21st til May 29th.

:wizard: My daughter is 24 and we're going in August. We've been going, just the 2 of us, for about 10 years. She's the youngest and I have always loved having special time with her. Every year we say "this is the last year we'll probably be able to go" and then we somehow manage to book another trip. We have wonderful memories of our trips...life can change in a heartbeat so enjoy yourself and enjoy spending time with your parents. Anyone who thinks it's weird just doesn't get it!

I am 24 years old and going to disney world with my parents.... is that odd? my friends are teachers and can't go the same time frame as me. My siblings (hate to say this on here) don't care for disney and me and parents love it. Is this odd? Still waiting for prince charming (any single men out there 24-30? :wave2: )

haha who care what other think, enjoy your self and have a good time!!! lol

I'm 32 and going with my mom this year. We always do a big family trip and this year we are going to WDW. WOOO HOOO!
I was told once don't worry what others think--they don't do it that much.
Enjoy. I'm sure it will be a great time.
