not that odd - I have had it happen, your VMK went into overflow and broke it down into base code names instead of display names. You should have crashed right after it happened, but you didnt lol. Try increasing the size of your Temporarily internet files folder

That happens when you are logged in under two charachters at once and then log one out.

This happens when your web browser can't load the VMK external texts file for some reason. Quit and log in again and it should be cleared up.

I would have that it would be o and not a since binary is 1 and 0 and since you can't say those I and O would be closest.

That happened to me before and I couldn't talk all I could say was I, Purpleduck wondered what was wrong with me but mines was worse every item I clicked on it said item.### whatever number.

Not necessarily the browser, but more likely the connection on the VMK end. The time this happened to me I was playing at Disneyland's VMK Central! Luckily I was with a person that has had it happen to her at home a few times.

<sigh> it really is a combination of both VMk and the computer (not nessecarily the browser) - like I said before, it is an overflow issue where the browser can no longer parse the data properly and reverts to the base code - clearing your temp internet files can help remove the issue. VMK is a very very very download intensive site - it frequently overflows if you are set for the default in IE (which is 1 gig) - I recommend, when running VMK on a PC, you set your temp internet files to about 5 gig

That has happened to me once before. I logged out and back in and everything was back to normal.

This used to happen to me on my Mac quite often. I would get an error message when VMK was loading that said it wasn't able to load the dictionary. It didn't seem to be a memory issue, I could play the game just fine other than not being able to say anything. I would do my credit run and play fireworks. My guess was the game wasn't able to access the dictionary for whatever reason, probably something like an attempt to open a link timing out. The problem was easily fixed by restarting the game.
