OMG, that's what I was thinking.

Now when dh tells me to hurry up because he doesn't want to go upstairs to use the bathroom, I'll tell him, "Hey, I still have a year and a half left".

You mean to tell me that her feet went to sleep and she STILL sat there? I HATE that feeling. Once that feeling sets in, it be time to get off the pot! Wonder what other sensations she had to endure? What idiot lets someone sit on a toilet for 2 hours much less 2 years?! Come on. They're both mental and they both need treatment. How did she keep clean? Did she wash her hands before each meal (could she even reach the sink from her porcelain throne)? How did she sleep? Can she even stand up straight at this point?!

OK - I wasn't going to laugh at the whole situation b/c I feel so bad for this poor woman, but your post almost made me fall out of my chair!
