Imagine what the toilet bowl must have looked like! If her skin had grown into the seat, imagine what kind of nasty toilet bowl funk must have grown into/onto HER. I wonder if the bathroom had a window she could see out of? Did they have Christmas dinner together in there or did he just sit out in the hallway? Did she brush her teeth or wash her hair? The only good thing about this..... she didn't have to worry about tampons! I wonder if their power ever went out and for how long? Wonder what she gave him for Christmas? Geez, the questions just keep coming to me.

I know, it's really tragic the more you consider how awful it was. He says that he brought her food and water, no mention of hygiene.

I think it clearly is a case of either two severely mentally incapacitated people or one mentally incapacitated woman and a severely abusive man. Either way, horribly sad.

It is wrong, but is it illegal? If he wasn't forcing her to stay in there and she didn't want to come out.... How could he really force her out? She probably kept making promises that she would come out tomorrow or next week or some other time in the near future. I am sure she didn't sit down and say, "I am not moving for two years". If he had tried to physically force her out, then he might have been arrested for domestic battery.
