Is this doable?

My DH and I are only gonna spend one day at WDW and have chosen to go to Epcot. I really want to spend some time shopping at Downtown Disney that day too, and was thinking that we can head over there after we are done at Epcot. I know Illuminations starts at 9pm and we do not want to miss that ...and so I was wondering if there will be enough time for us to head back to DTD afterwards to do some shopping. We will be taking the hotel transfer bus back to Courtyard Marriott at DTD.

Downtown Disney is open until 11pm, so you should have some time for shopping. You might also consider taking a mid-day break during the hottest part of the day and doing some shopping then, too.

I'm glad to hear that we should have enough time to shop after Epcot. But as you said...it if gets too hot during noon time...we might just take a little break and head over to DTD.
