I received a post card rate for the deluxes for 94.00 per night, OK, then yesterday I received a postcard rate of $74.00 for the mods.
Now today I received the postcard rate for the values and it is the same as the mods. ($74.00) Shouldn't the values be less than the mods.?
I did book 2 rooms at CBR @ 74.00 a night. Isn't this a REALLY good deal?
Anyone else getting Postcard rates w/ pin #'s daily?

I would also like to know.i would Love to get a deluxe for 94.00 a night.:p

I have received the last 3 by e-mail but last year I received one snail mail. I think it depends on what options you choose when you up date your personal stuff on the diz web site. Maybe someone else can help tell you how we receive them. I just consider myself lucky!

They are sent out by the Marketing Dept. They are not transferable and you need the PIN number that comes with the code to book the discount.

You can not request them and it's random to who receives them and I have never heard of anyone getting a deluxe for $94 that is a very good rate.

As to the other rates the postcard offers have been better than the email offers.

$94.00 for a deluxe is an AMAZING rate. I am getting a travel industry discount that isn't even that good! WOW'
Lucky you!!!!;)

ilovdisney2,

Who is your email from? Does it actually say "Disney"?
I am just curious?
Thanks,
Jill

None of my business, but I just have to ask!;)

You got an offer of $94 a nite for a deluxe and didn't take it?????
I don't think I've ever heard of a deluxe resort rate that low, no matter what the discount!!!
I got the email for the $74 value resorts, but not the deluxes or moderates.:(

It did say this at the bottom of the email...

"You received this message because you provided your e-mail address and wanted to receive planning tips & reminders as well as future Disney offers via e-mail."

If you're not getting these offers you might want to change your preferences on the Disney website.

Couple of things:

Are you sure that the offer was $94 for a deluxe and not a moderate. If it is for a deluxe, then BOOK IT!

Also, having those checkboxes checked doesn't mean that you will start getting emails with discounts. I've had those boxes checked for probably a year and never received a discount email.

I've received lots of postcards over the years, but have NEVER seen a $94 deluxe rate! Good heavens! Why in the WORLD didn't you jump at that chance?!! I'd be there in a heartbeat!;)

How long is this rate good for?

I changed my preferences at Disney, so I hope I'll start receiving the e-mails!

Thanks everyone for the helpful information.
Jill

I received the email for $74 at the values... but nothing for the deluxe resorts. That's a great deal!!! WOW!!!!!! :)

I never go postcards!!! I'm jealous. How do you get these postcards sent to you?

I was looking at another site and someone has listed a code they received by email for $94 a night for moderates....

I also received a postcard (email) for mods at $94......value for $74. Would LOVE to get one for Deluxe at $94!!

Where on the Disney Web site do you give information about yourself to get email?
I've looked must be overlooking it. Thanks for the help.

We got an e-mail today too for a value resort...$74 per night.

No mention of any other Mod. or Deluxe rate.

Was it ANY Deluxe resort or just AKL ?????

OK, some of the postcard e-mails that I received are from "Walt Disney World" and some are from "vacation@disneyworld.disneyworld.com" but both have save big this summer at Disney Resort in the subject line. They are exactly like the postcard that I received in the mail last year. I did go back and recheck the rates and it is 94.00 for SELECT DELUXES, 74.00 for Select MODS. and 74.00 for values.
The reason I booked the mods. is because the deluxes that would have been 94.00 is the AKL standard room and my kids wanted the beach theme. We do have to get two rooms so I saved quiet a bit going with the mods. I would love to share the rate with everyone but the CRO's do ask for the pin # right away. All I can say that I have done is used the postcard last year and I did check all the "want to receive mail and offers" on my personal file.
Hope this helps.

Here's how I did mine...there's probably a shorter way, but at any rate...

Then click on account info, click the red button and sign in, then click on enewsletter options.

Thanks for the tip on updating my account at Disney.com! I setup my account in 1997 and those options weren't available back then. I never thought to update myself. Hope it works for a postcard!!
