Is this a new feature from yesterday's computer maintenance...

I made my ADR's today.

When I went to make my Friday reservation, it prompted me that I already had another reservation at that time. It told me I could proceed or cancel.

I realized I had not changed the date from Thursday to Friday.

As an experiment, I pressed "continue" and it made my reservation, but prompted me that my Thursday reservation had been cancelled, since I had duplicate reservations for the same time frame. Interesting.

Anyway, I went back and canceled the accidental Thursday ressie, re-scheduled my Thursday and Friday one with no problem.

I know last year, people were commenting they were able to make multiple ressies for the same time. I was wondering if this may be a new feature from yesterday's computer upgrade.:confused3

It's a feature they added about a month ago, strictly to prevent online double bookings. If you need to make a valid double-booking (e.g. party splitting up), you are to call Disney Dining and have a CM do it.

Of course, there's still ways around it and still ways to exploit the system, but it's a good step forward.

It was there last week.
I also forgot to change the date on one of them, and it wouldn't let me have them both. Good thing ;)

I am glad to hear that!

It was disheartening when last spring I was making my ADR's and a few people were even boasting about having two or three ressies for both lunch and dinner.

Sad for people who genuinely want to get into places like Le Cellier, which seem to have no availability at all.

Good job, Disney!;)
