What are your thoughts on this price:

$75 for
200 points at SSR
40 2015 points
all 2016, 2017 points

Does this sound reasonable in the current market? The prices have gone up so much lately. What are your thoughts?

If it's the contract you're looking for, it's a great price. If not, then it's a terrible price.

I'd say it's well within 10% of reasonable.

Yes, but I would not pay annual dues for the 40 points from 2015 and have them bank them into 2016 as closing is taking a LONG time these days

I would be worried about the possibility of Disney taking it back during the ROFR process. The price is good and may be enticing for Disney.

Yes, it would say it is a good price. SSR has been in the $80s lately. What use year is it?

I wouldn't advise offering or buying higher to try to avoid ROFR. Don't forget that the actual percentage of resale contracts taken back overall is like 4%, it's just that we have an active forum here and it makes the possibility of ROFR stay more forefront in our minds as a result!

If you buy at asking or lower and it doesn't pass, there is always another.

We have made the purchase and we will take our chances on ROFR. It is a September UY. If we dont get it we will keep shopping, there are lots of contracts out there. Thanks for your advice! As always my dis friends are a wonderful resource.

Given the current market I think the price is below average but not so low that the mouse wont let it pass. However the ROFR is a guessing game at best. I think you are good with this one but who really knows.

Good luck. I think you found a great deal. ROFR is probably 50/50 on it, but if it gets taken you don't lose anything.

It's a good deal IMO. SSR has been running in the high 80's and the fact that it's not totally stripped is definitely in your favor.

So that was our accepted offer but.... It turns out that that deal didn't go through as there was a divorce and one of the sellers refused to sign the contract and would not sell. It's ok though, in the meantime we found another contract for a little more money but more banked popints. We are happy and on our way to ownership.
