I think that you should pick what ever you want. We like pizza planet the best at DHS ( I know it's a QS, but it's very good). As for the best palces; we have always enjoyed the food and service at Tony's at MK and the Garden Grill at Epcot. Happy B'day and have a great trip. Don't forget to tell them it's your B'day and get your button to wear.

I spent my birthday lunch(I won't mention the number) there in september had a great time. The food was good and service was great. The service was better than at Narcooses that night. I love there good old home cooking style.

They might, or they might not. It's all going to depend on the server you get and what they feel like doing. 50s PT is a highly interactive place most of the time and the odds are good that you will at least get some form of birthday song or recognition.

Like a PP said, you have a 50-50% chance of them acknowledging it. We went last year and ate there for my birthday. The sweet gentleman taking us to our table wished me a Happy Birthday but our server said nothing. Of course by the end of the meal we were just happy that we saw her more than once.

I can't wait regradles the last time I got a home cooked meal is when I moved out 3 yrs ago, so that will be a treat in its self.

I've heard mixed reviews...but it's always looked fun to me. HS are known for not having any really good places to eat. We're planning on doing Sci Fi next time we're there. Have fun!

I think it is a great idea. My DH, DS15, DS13, and I all thoroughly enjoy the 50's Prime Time Cafe. The desserts are great there, too! I really like their fried chicken. The atmosphere is fun, too! Go for it! Also, I disagree with the people who say not to eat at DHS. We enjoy Mama Melrose, too. Some people are much more persnickity than I am.

I totally agree with you. Don't understand all the people who say not to eat at DHS. 50's Primetime and Sci-Fi are 2 of our favorite restarants on WDW property! The food is good at both and the theming is excellent!!!! Not everyone wants a gourmet meal all the time!

It also costs in excess of $150 per person and requires jackets for men and sort of semi-formal attire for women.

I can't afford that Mike and I are full time students and what still draws me to 50 prime time cafe is home cooking havent tasted that in a long time
