Is This a Good Deal?

Hi All

Just called today to make a reservation for late September. Was going to book Pop (love it) but the cast member said I had a special offer. Was not a 40% (no such luck) but after explaining what I wanted (8 day MYW PH & Deluxe Dining) offered me package at CSR with a total price of $2899.38. That is for 2 Adults and 1 child, is that a good deal? The thing is I have never stayed at CSR (not sure will like it) and if free dining comes out I cannot apply it.

So bottom line here is:

a) would I even like CSR
b) is it a good deal (what is actual savings?) or
c) should I stick to POP and hope for Free Dining?

My head is spinning and I can't stand it anymore. Thanks for the input.

This is what I just found on their website

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
Total: $3,435.70 †

This is for 7 nights, 2 adults, 2 child under 9, 8 day hoppers, and deluxe dining plan.

That's a savings of $ 536.32 if you were offered it at 2899.38.

I tried to figure out the room only costs to see what that works out to for a savings but it wouldn't give it to me.

You got 30% off if they included trip insurance. That's a good offer if it includes what you said.

Rack rate is $3242 with insur. So you got 30% off room combined with 8 day with PH and DDP Deluxe.

If it didn't include trip insur then it was 20% off.

CSR is a great resort! And that does sound like a decent deal.
