Is this a bad sign?

First, I want to say my heart, thoughts and prayer go out to everyone's lives that hurricane Katrina has touched! Please know that I am not making light of the situation. It troubles me greatly knowing that my daughter shares a name with a force so deadly and devastating.

To some this may seem a bit silly; but I am wondering if this is some kind of a sign. Here's the situation. We are scheduled to go to WDW the end of September into early October. We will be meeting DH's parents there. Our relationship with them has been in the past has been turbulent to say the least. However, we are making stides to try to improve that; but it is slow going. Ironically DD's daughter's name is Katrina and we will be staying at Port Orlean's French Quarter. I am not sure what to do. Do we go or do we cancel. I am hoping this isn't a bad sign of what is to come!

What do you think? Is it just coincidence or a warning sign? What would you do.

I think it's merely coincidence too. Go enjoy yourself and take comfort in knowing you've got the opportunity to make amends with your in-laws. Some don't have that luxury. Take advantage of it!

Do you know how many people named Katrina are staying at or will be staying at Port Orleans? Probably lots! Don't let it ruin your trip.

(Besides, in-law relations are not always the best no matter what your name is or where you stay! Good luck to your steps to improve yours!)

Funny how I could barely find anything with her name on it now I am sure I will be seeing a lot of I survived t-shirts!

Just not something I really want her name connected with; but I didn't name it. Someone else had that pleasure. Just wish they would use numbers and not names!

LOL! He may need one of those! I use to joke about her being a natural diaster of one sort or another. Being a toddler she is quite good at making a mess! She is also a bit strong willed, too!
