The only thing that slightly annoys me is when people reply to a thread using a numbered list (in a thread that doesn't merit a step-by-step answer). It's so snarky, just write a paragraph!

When the boards are extremely slow..

And more recently, people who have to throw politics into threads that have absolutely nothing to do with politics - such as a recipe thread or where to buy a particular item or if anyone has that nasty virus that is going around - and on and on and on.. They are sooooooo wrapped up in politics they have to post a political comment (or jab) in every single thread -regardless of the topic..

I would love to see a separate board for politics, but I know it will never happen.. Granted, I have posted on a few political threads myself, but I don't see the need to drag politics into totally unrelated topics.. To me that seems rather "OCD"-ish..

Of course I'm dragging politics into this thread, but only to answer the original question of what I find super annoying..

First, it's NOT food porn. The pictures are fantastic to see and wonderful to share, but please let's get it straight, it's not pornography.

Its called food porn 10 million times (hope you dont have one about exaggerations) on the food pictures thread. Its a joke.

Second, nobody needs to post to a thread in order to subscribe!! We have an option at the top of each thread to do that on your own.

Actually, that's semi-wrong in theory. There is a very valid reason to NOT use the subscribe button you are referring to!!!
If the thread is moving very slowly the little "bump" or "Subbing" posts actually help the thread keep from dying. The word bump actually means BUMP UP MY POST!!! Its a GOOD THING!!! Now if the thread is very fast moving or it's a very popular thread then the subscribe button would help keep clutter down. (like on the FOODPORN thread!!! )

Nothing super annoys me but I have to say that I roll my eyes when someone comes on here and is worried about not being able to pay their bills and then they have a ticker to some elaborate concierge level trip - or any trip really- to WDW in their siggie. Then when people ask about it they "claim" it was a gift from some relative. Please huh. I can count on less than one hand the people I know who had a relative pay for a trip for them. Over here though it seems like everyone is related to Daddy Warbucks. Now I wouldn't care otherwise, but when you are comtemplating bankruptcy and you have a rich trip giving relative I don't buy it at all. Just a pet peeve of mine. I think those posters are full of it.

Although I agree with you, my parents paid for our 6 night WDW vacation at the BCV (rented points), including tickets and flights, and a 3 nights on DCL. We paid for the van to and from the airport (less than $150), the DDP for our family (but we shared CS meals with them, plus snacks), and a GG order (including wine and beer). They even used their points for our airfare! They were happy to share all of this with their grandchildren, and had the best time ever. It probably cost $10,000 or so.
