Is there enough to do at Universal on a solo trip?

I've seen Macraven doing the solo trip to Universal and, believe me, she has a grin that would rival the Cheschire Cat! It's obvious that she is having the time of her life.

Going solo is quite an adventure. You can eat when you want, ride what you want, sleep when you want, etc. If you want some company, you can meet up with many of us from this board. I know I'd love to meet you!

I love to sit and people watch at Universal. I get to do that a lot while DS rides Dueling Dragons over and over. Sometimes I feel as if I am doing Universal solo! It is also fun to sit at the talking fountain and observe there as well.

At Mythos, ask for a table in front of the big window. They have a 2 seat table right in the middle. You can look out the window at Hulk and Dr. Doom across the lagoon.

Eating at the bar is a good idea, I've done that a few times. Order a drink, and if it feels comfortable, then order food, apps are good. They usually have TVs you can watch, and the bartender will chat it up by asking, "Where are you from?"

Bring gallon zip lock bags to store left overs.

The thing you'll enjoy about going solo, is how much you get done. For example, let's say you hang out by the pool in the afternoon, and the parks close in 2 hours. No problem, that's enough time to tour favorites at IOA.

i killed 3 hours of park time on my last visit there.

i got such a kick out of looking and listening to the goings on there.
of course i am not as blonde as i look.......i sat on the way side so not to get wet when the fountain shots the water up high.......
