Is there cancel for any reason insurance available?

My trip in May is looking dicey but my bank date is in April. I'm thinking of moving to August but would like insurance in case I can't go for some reason and I'm not out all my points. I'm looking for something that allows for basically any cancellation and not just medical or whatever Travelex allows.

Does anyone know if it's available and how much it costs?

The Travelex Insurance offered through DVC is probably the only one you will find that will cover reservations made using your points.

Travelex did not cover when SW cancelled our flight due to air traffic control issues. I do not think Travelex has a “cancel for any reason clause.” We were very surprised disappointed.

Maybe there’s another way to go. I would love to know with whom!

Ok, looks like there is availability in Sept as well so that would allow me to bank UY2019 and use those points in UY2020 but also give me from Sept20-August21 to use the points.

The Travelex insurance covers very little.
