Is there anything you wish Disney did differently w. its concierge rooms?

Just curious if anyone had any perks that they thought would be part of the concierge rooms that aren't or maybe was on a different Cruise lines concierge rooms and noticed that that line did X and Disney does Y with the rooms? Basically does the way Disney handle it concierge rooms meet up with how the other cruise lines do them for better or worse?

My biggest wish is that they have reserved seats for concierge for the nighttime show. They semi recently have started allowing concierge to go in and pick seats before the theater opens to the rest of the ship but that is not a benefit in my opinion. It’s a waste of time to sit there for 45 minutes before the show starts. Not to mention there’s no way my young kids could handle that. I reserved section costs them nothing and would be a huge benefit.

We've sailed extensively on DCL, RCL & Celebrity, in suites. Our experience is that the concierge service is simply different on each line. Not really able to compare and contrast.

The main thing that I don't like is that a significant benefit of concierge is early access to activity bookings. You pay 3x as much as anyone else for the privilege of staying up until midnight 130 days before embarkation to send an email in hopes of getting a cabana or Palo brunch or the tasting you want. If you book inside of that window (we usually book within 60 days of departure) then that benefit is basically worthless--they'll hold back a few spaces for some activities, but you can't rely on it. I get that there aren't enough cabanas to go around, but for other activities they could easily hold back a bit more space for allocation on-board to ensure that concierge guests can get what they want (we had no trouble getting into anything we wanted when sailing in a suite on Celebrity or MSC).

I also agree whole-heartedly with this one. Paying more to wait an extra 30 minutes in the theater is no benefit to me. I understand that reserved sections are difficult because not everyone agrees about where the best seats are, but it would be a step in the right direction.

We don't sail concierge, because we don't feel like anything is missing that concierge would provide. We also prefer to sit towards the back of the theater, so this wouldn't affect us. But my preference is that the less class divisions they make visible on the ship, the better. Disney is already a premium price and from a customer point of view, I don't think it would be good for the brand to essentially create an economy class of guests. If the move to stuff like dividing the theater by guest class, I think it is bad taste. We aren't flying an airline when sailing Disney and everyone is already paying above-market rates for the experience. The stuff they do now is much less visible. Even if concierge is getting the better tables, better seats, and better experience bookings, it isn't very visable. Just my two cents.
