Is there anything you like about your body?

For some reason I was thinking the other day how after a life long battle of the bulge that there were many parts of my body that I disliked. Now that I am losing weight and noticing some changes in my body it got me to thinking if I had a favorite part of my body. For me, my best feature has to be my legs (too bad I can't claim the rest of me, someday, though!). So how about you, do you have a favorite feature?

I guess it would be my lower legs, if I had to choose anything at all. I have always had well definied calves, because of the many years of dancing through childhood and most of my teen years.

I've been blessed with NOT gaining a lot in my rear end. ;)

I do gain PROPORTIONATELY there, however.... Too bad I can't say the same thing about my tummy and my thighs! UGH!!!

Another leg gal here!!! DH claims that's what he noticed first about me (hee hee!). All the walking I do pays off. Even when I'm not "at my healthiest" my legs still look pretty good. Same as Glo, I have well defined calves, although I was never a dancer. ;)

I am hoping that by July or August my new favorite body part will be my FLAT belly!!! :)

Another leg person here. Actually my thighs have never been heavy either, hence the problem finding jeans that aren't baggy in the legs. Also my arms don't flap in the breeze.

However, if I could just get rid of my big problem area - stomach - I'd be thrilled. It doesn't have to even be flat... just flatter.:D :D

I've been told that I have good legs, too.

I think the most positive thing about my body is that I have a figure whether I'm thin or heavy. Meaning that I have a waist line. It may be a HUGE waistline but there is a definite waist there.

I'm also lucky that I'm not bottom heavy. My sil carries all of her weight in her hips and thighs, I'm glad I don't.

Nope. I thought about that a few weeks ago. And I couldn't name one thing I liked.

I really like my upper body/arms/back. I do weight training, and my arms and back have really become defined and muscular, but not too muscular, if you know what I mean! I don't want to look like a female body builder, lol!

Yep... but normally they are the first place I lose when I lose weight  I think that's why DH likes me the way I am ;)

I like it ALL! Just wish there wasn't so much of it!:p

Keep the Faith!

Count me in as another "leg woman"! I've always been happy with my legs and I have rather narrow hips too - something my sister-in-law hates me for! lol! My problem area is my tummy, I don't ever remember having a flat stomach, even before I had my kids. I wouldn't mind losing a few inches off my bustline either.

Great thread - we all need to remember to focus on our positive aspects every now and then (and IheartMickey I know you've got some too!) :D
