Is there anyone out there experiencing warm weather right now?

How soon will it take me to reach where you live if I head out RIGHT NOW?

My toesies have yet to get warm today. I wish Mother Nature would stop having these cold spells she likes to have from time to time. Enough is enough.

It is 64 right now at 10:42 am and we are supposed to hit 78 today. That is warm for us. Our norm is about 66 for today.
GA to AZ......3 days????

53 in Idaho???? I thought you'd be in the negatives right now, Robin. How long would it take me to get there?

Kim, I've heard AZ is a great state to live in if you have allergies/sinus issues. I think I could make it in about 2 days instead of 3 though. That's if I don't make any pit stops. Since I'll have coffee with me, it might take me 5-6 days though.

I can pick you up at the airport if you wish and have a nice warm dinner waiting for you when you get here


Its been a really strange winter but here in the desert of Idaho it doesnt usually get below freezing for very long at all. North Idaho is a different story but even they have been unseasonably warm. I was just up last weekend and was going in a sweatshirt and no coat.
Very strange.

Um, unless you're a really good swimmer or own a boat, you'll have to catch a plane to get here, a 10-12 hour ride altogether (you'll have to stopover somewhere, I think Delta has the fastest route from where you are...)

It's around the mid-70's, but it's VERY windy today. We've actually had a cold spell up until yesterday, a whopping 53 degrees at night. (Hey, for us, that's cold!!!)

Robin, I've never flown before. But for warm weather and a even warmer invitation like that, I'm on my way.

It's 88 here and sunny like it has pretty much been everyday for the past month. It's a 2 hor flight from Florida and 4 hours from Chicago. Just let me know and I will be happy to pick you up from the airport.

Upper 50's and sunshine here in Colorado. It was in the teens the last few days, so this feels real warm. Could be the upper 60's by Monday. Just wish it were green too. If we must have winter, I wish it would snow too. But, at least I can go outside w/o a coat for the next few days.

My DW was in the hot tub last night and when she came in her hair was frozen. She asked if I wanted to get in and I asked her if she was trying to kill me!

88! Katherine, you are soooooo lucky! I think I'm about a 4 hour flight from Florida (well, it's according to which part of Florida we're talking about, I think it took my dd 4 hours to fly to Orlando, but that was after a 2 hour drive to Atlanta).

Kelli, we had shorts wearing weather this past weekend (almost in the 70's). I sure do miss that kind of weather! It was 2 degrees on my back porch at 8 am this morning. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
