Is there any way to change my username??

I chose my username when I was married to my first husband, serveral years ago. I am getting married in 4 weeks and now of course I HATE my user name. I am not sure why I chose it to begin with...of all the cute creative things I could have come up with...I chose something reallly stupid.

Anyway...is there any way to change it now without losing my start date and post count? Pretty please (with pixie dust on top) moderators?

I do realize that on most sites, once you choose your username, you are stuck with it, but just thought I would ask on that off chance that someone wants to grant me a magical moment.

PS: If this is at all possible, I would love it to be either GrumpJes24 or JessicaG or something to do with Eeyore or Grumpy.

If you change your user name you have to start over. You would lose the sign up date and post count.

It kind of stinks, doesn't it? If it makes you feel any better, I don't pay any attention to how many posts a person has or when they joined. You could even put a little something about that under your new username. Like formerly known as j_lehr and when you joined. And, Congratulaitons on your wedding!
